About Eevee Rugs

One Pokémon, nine designs

Eevee is the most versatile Pokémon there is, and so is an Eevee rug. The classic design is Eevee itself, with its brown fur, fluffy cream ruff, big ears and bushy tail, on a round rug. The most impressive design is the full family: Eevee in the center of a round rug, surrounded by all eight of its evolutions. And if you already have a favorite evolution, Umbreon's glowing rings or Sylveon's ribbons each make a striking rug on their own. Every design is printed into soft velvet that goes in the washing machine.

Who Eevee is

Eevee is a Normal-type Pokémon from the first generation, number 133 in the National Pokédex. According to the Pokédex, its genetic makeup is unusually unstable, which lets it adapt to its surroundings and evolve in more ways than any other Pokémon. In the original games, it could become Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon with a Water, Thunder or Fire Stone. Every few generations since, the series has added new evolutions, and fans call the whole family the Eeveelutions. In 2018, Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! made it the partner Pokémon, riding on the player's shoulder throughout the game.

Eevee's face on a round rug

Eevee's face, with its big pointed ears and its cream ruff framing a round brown head, is warm and soft, and it fits a round rug beautifully. On a 3.3 to 4.6 ft (100 to 140 cm) rug, it makes a cozy center for a bedroom; on a 5.2 or 5.9 ft (160 or 180 cm) rug, it fills a larger room. Its brown and cream palette is calmer than most Pokémon colors, so it suits a living room or a grown-up's bedroom as easily as a child's. Our round rugs page shows each size in a room.

An Eevee-shaped rug

Cut to Eevee's outline, ears up and fluffy tail curled, a shaped rug looks like Eevee has settled down for a nap on your floor. Shaped rugs come in sizes from 2.6×2.6 up to 5.2×5.9 ft (80×80 to 160×180 cm). A small one beside a bed is sweet; a large one is a soft spot for reading or playing.

Eevee in the middle of a round rug, with the eight evolutions arranged around it like a compass, is the showpiece group design. It suits a 4.6 to 5.9 ft (140 to 180 cm) round rug, where each Pokémon has room, and it's a perfect choice for a fan who can never pick just one.

Umbreon's rings

Umbreon, the Dark-type evolution, is one of the most popular Pokémon of all with older fans: sleek and black, with yellow rings on its ears, forehead, legs and tail that glow in the dark. An Umbreon design, or simply its glowing rings on a black round rug, is a stylish, moody piece that suits a dark gaming setup or a minimalist bedroom, and it reads as abstract art to anyone who doesn't know the series.

Sylveon's ribbons

Sylveon, the Fairy-type evolution introduced in Pokémon X and Y, is soft and pastel: white and pink, with ribbon-like feelers flowing from a bow on its ear. A Sylveon design suits a kawaii bedroom or a nursery perfectly, and a pattern of its pink-and-blue ribbons is a subtle, pretty rug for a grown-up room. For more ribbon designs, see our bow rugs.

Espeon, Glaceon and Leafeon

Each of the other evolutions has its own mood. Espeon's lilac fur and forked tail make an elegant, calm rug; Glaceon's icy blues and diamond patterns are cool and crisp, perfect for a winter-themed room; Leafeon's cream and green suit a room full of plants. Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon, the original three, bring bold blue, yellow and orange, a fun trio for siblings who each pick a type.

A nursery with Eevee

Eevee's brown and cream are gentle enough for a nursery, and Sylveon's pastels are even softer. For a calm nursery, pair an Eevee rug with cream, beige and soft green, or a Sylveon rug with white and blush pink. Premium's plush velvet, 7 mm on a bamboo and cotton back, about 700 g/m², is soft for tummy time; once your child is walking on a smooth floor, Standard's non-slip back is the safer choice. Our kids and nursery rugs have more ideas.

An Eevee bedroom

Because Eevee has so many forms, an Eevee bedroom can be any color you like. Some ideas:

  • Warm and cozy: Eevee's brown and cream, with beige bedding, wood furniture and fairy lights.
  • Dark and moody: Umbreon's black and yellow, with dark bedding and soft golden lamps.
  • Pastel: Sylveon's pink, white and blue, with plush toys and a white desk.
  • Cool: Glaceon's icy blues and whites, with silver accents.

For the softest bedside rug, choose Premium. Our bedroom rugs page has more layouts, and our cute rugs have pastel designs without a character.

Evolution stones

Part of the fun of Eevee is the decision: which stone, which time of day, which bond will shape what it becomes. The evolution stones themselves, the Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Leaf Stone and Ice Stone, are lovely little objects, each a polished gem with its own color and symbol. A pattern of the stones scattered on a dark ground looks like a jewel-toned print to visitors, and like the agony of choosing to any trainer who has ever held an Eevee in their party and hesitated.

Let's Go, Eevee!

In Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!, your partner Eevee rides on your shoulder, follows you around the Kanto region and can be dressed up with different outfits and hairstyles, and it stays an Eevee for the whole adventure. For fans of that game, a design of Eevee in a little outfit, sitting on a trainer's shoulder, is a sweet reminder of a partner that never needed to evolve.

Gigantamax Eevee

In Pokémon Sword and Shield, Gigantamax Eevee grows into a giant, extra-fluffy version of itself, with an enormous, cloud-like cream ruff. A Gigantamax Eevee design is a cheerful, extra-soft-looking rug that kids love, and it shows off Eevee's fluffiest side.

Eevee and friends

Eevee often shares a room with other Pokémon favorites. Many fans pair it with Pikachu, the other partner Pokémon, or with the sleepy Snorlax. A Poké Ball rug pairs with any of them, and for Pokémon with a darker side, there's Gengar. The full range is on our Pokémon rugs page.

Standard or Premium

Standard is 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back, about 500 g/m², best on hard floors, under desk chairs and in busy rooms. Premium is softer and warmer, best beside a bed or anywhere you sit on the floor. Both are printed the same way, so the cream stays soft and Umbreon's rings stay bright, and both go in the washing machine.

Sizes

Eevee's face or a single evolution suits a 3.3 to 4.6 ft (100 to 140 cm) round rug. The full Eeveelution circle needs 4.6 to 5.9 ft (140 to 180 cm) so each Pokémon has room. A shaped Eevee works from 2.6×2.6 ft (80×80 cm) beside a bed up to 5.2×5.9 ft (160×180 cm) as a centerpiece. A row of all nine suits a 5×7 ft rectangle or a long runner.

Your own design

If you'd like your favorite Eeveelutions only, a name added or a design built around artwork you own, our custom rugs can print it in any size up to 5′11″ × 10′, or cut it to shape. Please only send artwork you're allowed to use; custom rugs are made just for you and can't be returned.

Gifts

An Eevee rug is a great gift for a Pokémon fan who can never decide on a favorite, an Umbreon or Sylveon devotee, or a parent decorating a gentle nursery. If you aren't sure which design to choose, Eevee's face on a round rug is the safest; the Eeveelution circle is the most impressive. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that. Unused rugs can be returned within 30 days on US orders.

Care

Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle and let it air dry flat. Vacuum on a low setting between washes, and blot spills with cold water right away. The design is printed into the fibers, so every color stays bright, whichever way your Eevee evolves.

A note on the character

Day, night and friendship

Two of Eevee's evolutions depend on the clock. Raise an Eevee with plenty of friendship and level it up during the day, and it becomes Espeon, the elegant lilac Psychic type with a forked tail and a red gem on its forehead. Do the same at night, and it becomes Umbreon, sleek and black with glowing yellow rings. That simple rule has made the pair inseparable for fans since their debut in Gold and Silver.

A day-and-night rug captures it beautifully: one half bathed in sunlight with Espeon, the other half under the moon with Umbreon, divided by a soft line where dusk meets dawn. It suits siblings who share a room, a couple who each picked a side, or anyone who loves both.

Shiny forms add another layer. A shiny Eevee is a pale silver-white, a shiny Umbreon swaps its yellow rings for blue, and a shiny Espeon turns a soft green. For collectors who hunt shinies, a rug in those alternate colors is a quiet signal to anyone else who knows how many encounters it takes to find one.
