About Chainsaw Man Rugs

A boy, a devil-dog and a chainsaw

Denji is broke, alone and buried in his late father's debts, working as a devil hunter with his only friend: a small, loyal devil-dog with a chainsaw sticking out of his head. When the two merge, Denji becomes something the world has never seen. Chainsaw Man is one of the wildest, funniest and most heartbreaking manga of recent years. A Chainsaw Man-inspired rug brings its punk energy into a room: a cute orange devil-dog cut to shape, a ring of chainsaw teeth on a round rug, bold red ink on black or a pair of red horns. Every design is printed into soft velvet and goes in the washing machine.

The series

Chainsaw Man is written and drawn by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Its first part ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2018 to 2020, and its second part began on the Shōnen Jump+ app in 2022. In its world, devils are born from human fears, and the more a thing is feared, the more powerful its devil becomes. After his friend saves him by becoming his heart, Denji joins a government team of devil hunters, alongside the chaotic, horned Power and the serious Aki, working for the mysterious Makima. The studio MAPPA adapted it into an acclaimed anime in 2022, and a film continuing the story followed in 2025.

The little devil-dog

Denji's companion, a small orange devil who looks like a puppy with a chainsaw for a nose, is one of the most beloved characters in modern anime, adorable and fiercely loyal. A rug cut to the shape of our own little orange chainsaw devil-dog is a sweet, funny piece beside a bed or under a gaming desk, and the cutest way into the series. Our shaped rugs come in sizes from 2.6×2.6 up to 5.2×5.9 ft (80×80 to 160×180 cm). For real dogs, see our dog rugs.

Chainsaw teeth

A ring of jagged chainsaw teeth running around the edge of a round rug, in steel gray on black or orange, is a bold, graphic design for a gaming setup or a dorm. Our round rugs come from 2.6 to 5.9 ft (80 to 180 cm) across.

Red ink

The manga's art is raw and energetic, and its color is famously red. A rug of bold red ink splatters and brushstrokes on black is a striking, abstract design that captures the series' intensity without depicting anything graphic. It suits a teen's room, an artist's studio or a gaming setup with red lighting.

The pull cord

Denji transforms by pulling a starter cord on his chest, like starting a chainsaw. A pull-cord rug, a starter handle and cord drawn in clean lines on a bold color, is a witty, minimalist nod for fans, and a fun rug just inside a game room door.

Red horns

Power, a blood fiend with a pair of small red horns, is loud, selfish, ridiculous and one of the series' most loved characters. A rug with a simple pair of bright red horns on cream is a playful, subtle design for a bedroom or a dorm.

Neon Tokyo

The story unfolds in a slightly alternate Tokyo of rainy streets, neon signs and cramped apartments. A neon-Tokyo rug, rain-slicked streets glowing pink and blue at night, is a moody, cinematic design for a gaming setup or a home theater.

Fears and devils

Because every devil in the story embodies a fear, from the ordinary to the cosmic, the series is full of strange, inventive creature designs. A rug of our own small, cartoonish devils, inspired by everyday fears, is a fun, quirky design for an older fan who loves the world-building.

Small dreams, big heart

Part of what makes Denji so lovable is how small his dreams are at first: bread with jam, a warm bed, a real meal, someone to talk to. The series swings wildly between absurd comedy and real tragedy, and fans often say it's the quiet, human moments between the fights that stay with them. A soft, simple rug, a slice of jam toast or a cozy orange devil-dog, captures that warmth.

Fujimoto's other stories

Before Chainsaw Man, Tatsuki Fujimoto wrote the dark fantasy Fire Punch, and his short manga Look Back, about two girls who bond over drawing, became an acclaimed animated film in 2024. His work is known for cinematic panels, sudden tonal shifts and a love of movies.

Hallways and entryways

Down a hallway, a custom runner up to 10 ft long with a rainy neon street stretching into the distance makes a moody, cinematic passage. Just inside a game room door, a pull-cord rug is a funny welcome. Choose Standard for both, for its grip on hard floors, and keep front-door rugs indoors, out of the weather.

Pairing with furniture

These rugs suit bold, slightly punk rooms: black metal shelving, a red accent chair or beanbag, posters of your own, a figure shelf and red or pink LED strips. Keep the walls dark gray or white so the orange and red pop.

For older fans

Chainsaw Man is a mature series with intense violence and dark themes. These designs are best suited to teen, college and adult rooms. The little devil-dog is the gentlest choice for a fan's room.

Anime bedrooms

For a fan, a devil-dog shape or red-horns rug is a fun centerpiece for an anime bedroom. Pair it with black and red bedding, a few framed prints of your own and a shelf of manga volumes. On a hard floor, choose Standard, 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back, about 500 g/m², so the rug stays put. For a softer bedroom rug, choose Premium, 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back, about 700 g/m². Our bedroom rugs page has more layouts.

Gaming setups

A chainsaw-teeth or neon-Tokyo rug under a gaming desk pairs perfectly with red or pink RGB lighting. Under a gaming chair, choose Standard in 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft, which stays put and lets the wheels roll. For more, see our gaming rugs.

Dorms

A small devil-dog or red-ink rug brings instant personality to a dorm room. Choose Standard on hard dorm floors.

Kitchens

For a fan's kitchen, a rug of a slice of toast with strawberry jam is a sweet in-joke about Denji's simplest dream, and it goes straight in the washing machine when real jam lands on it. Choose Standard for its grip on kitchen floors.

Roommates and shared rooms

The series is full of messy, mismatched roommates who become a kind of family. For roommates or siblings who watch together, a devil-dog rug in the shared space and a red-horns rug by one bed is a fun nod to that found family.

Colors

Chainsaw Man-inspired designs look best in black, blood red and steel gray, with the bright orange of the little devil-dog and neon pink and blue for city nights.

Gifts

A Chainsaw Man-inspired rug makes a great gift for an anime fan, especially the little devil-dog shape. The red-horns rug is the most subtle; the chainsaw-teeth round rug is the boldest.

Your own design

Want a devil-dog with your name, red ink in your own brushwork or a neon Tokyo street sized to your gaming corner? Our custom rugs can print it in any size up to 5′11″ × 10′, or cut it to shape. Please only send artwork you're allowed to use; official manga panels and anime stills belong to their owners. Custom rugs are made just for you and can't be returned.

Sizes, shipping and returns

Rectangles come in 2×3, 2.6×3.9, 3.3×5, 4×6 and 5×7 ft. Round rugs come from 2.6 to 5.9 ft (80 to 180 cm) across, and shaped rugs from 2.6×2.6 up to 5.2×5.9 ft (80×80 to 160×180 cm). Custom sizes go up to 5′11″ × 10′. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that. Unused rugs can be returned within 30 days on US orders; custom rugs can't be returned.

Care

Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle and let it air dry flat. Vacuum on a low setting between washes, and blot spills with cold water right away. The design is printed into the fibers, so the red stays bold, wash after wash.

Power, Aki, Makima and the second part

The people around Denji are as memorable as the chainsaws. Power, the Blood Fiend with two red horns, is loud, selfish, hilarious and devoted to her cat, Meowy. Aki Hayakawa, with his neat topknot, makes contracts with devils, including the Fox Devil he summons with a hand sign. Makima, their calm, unreadable boss in Public Safety, has ringed yellow eyes that fans recognize instantly, and Kobeni, the most nervous devil hunter in Tokyo, is a fan favorite for her sheer terror.

Each one suggests a design that needs no portrait. A pair of red horns or a little cat silhouette is Power; a fox's head formed by a hand sign is Aki; a set of concentric yellow rings on dark red is Makima, simple and unsettling. Together they give a room a cast rather than a single hero, which suits the series' found-family heart.

The manga's second part began in 2022 on the Shōnen Jump+ app, following a new girl, Asa Mitaka, who shares her body with the War Devil, Yoru. In 2025, the Reze arc reached cinemas as a feature film. For fans following the story into its new chapters, a design built around school notebooks, a war-devil scar and a neon city at night extends the look beyond Denji's first adventures.

Keep the palette to black, blood red and a single accent, Makima's yellow or Power's pink, and the rug will feel unmistakably Chainsaw Man even without a chainsaw.

These character motifs also suit roommates who each have a favorite: one corner for Power's horns and cat, another for Aki's fox, and a shared rug with Makima's rings in the middle as a slightly ominous centerpiece. Because the series is violent and darkly funny, the designs fit best in rooms for older teens and adults, dorms, apartments and gaming setups, where friends gather to watch the anime or debate the manga's latest chapter. Keep the rest of the room simple, black and red with a single accent, and the rug carries the theme on its own.
