About One Punch Man Rugs
The hero who's too strong
He can defeat any monster with a single punch, which turns out to be a terrible problem: nothing is a challenge anymore, and he's bored out of his mind. Meanwhile, nobody recognizes him, and he's more excited about the supermarket's weekly sale than about saving the world. One-Punch Man is a brilliant parody of superhero and shōnen stories, packed with spectacular fights and deadpan comedy. A One-Punch Man-inspired rug brings that humor into a room: a giant comic-book fist, yellow, red and white hero color blocks, a hero rank card with your name, a daily workout chart or a pile of bargain sale tags. Every design is printed into soft velvet and goes in the washing machine.
One-Punch Man-inspired designs
| Design | The look | Best in |
|---|---|---|
| Giant fist | A comic-style punch with speed lines | Game rooms, home gyms |
| Hero colors | Yellow, red and white blocks | Dorms, minimalist rooms |
| Hero rank card | A rank card with your name and class | Dorms, gifts |
| Workout chart | A daily training routine checklist | Home gyms, bedrooms |
| Sale tags | Bright supermarket discount stickers | Kitchens, dorms |
| Ruined city | A comic city skyline after a battle | Gaming setups, hallways |
The giant fist suits a home gym, where it doubles as a reminder of that famous daily training routine, while hero colors are subtler for a dorm.
The series
One-Punch Man began in 2009 as a webcomic by an artist known as ONE, drawn in a deliberately rough style, and it became so popular that the manga artist Yusuke Murata redrew it in a lavishly detailed version starting in 2012. Saitama, an ordinary man who became a hero for fun, trains so hard that he loses all his hair and gains the power to win any fight with one blow. He joins the official Hero Association, where heroes are ranked by class, and gains an earnest cyborg disciple, while fighting increasingly absurd monsters. The anime adaptation, which began in 2015 with a first season by the studio Madhouse, is famous for its stunning animation.
The giant fist
A giant comic-style fist punching forward, surrounded by speed lines and a burst of impact, is the series' most iconic image. A fist rug in bold yellow and red is an energetic, funny design for a game room or a home gym, and it works as a round rug with the punch bursting from the center. Our round rugs come from 2.6 to 5.9 ft (80 to 180 cm) across. For more comic style, see our pop art rugs.
Hero colors
The hero's costume is simple to the point of being a joke: a plain yellow jumpsuit, red gloves and boots and a white cape. A color-block rug in yellow, red and white is a subtle, graphic nod for a dorm or a minimalist room, and only true fans will know exactly what it means.
Your hero rank
Heroes in the series are ranked by class, from S down to C, and spend much of their time worrying about their ranking. A hero rank card rug with your name, a class and a ridiculous hero name of your choosing is a fun custom design for a dorm or a gift. Our custom rugs can print it in any size up to 5′11″ × 10′.
The workout
The hero claims his power came from a simple daily routine: one hundred push-ups, one hundred sit-ups, one hundred squats and a ten-kilometer run, every single day. Fans around the world have tried it as a challenge. A workout-chart rug with that routine, or your own, and a row of checkboxes, is a funny, motivating design for a home gym, a dorm or a bedroom. It isn't a padded exercise mat, so use it for stretching and floor routines, and keep heavy weights on proper gym flooring. Choose Standard, 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back, about 500 g/m², so it stays put. For more sports designs, see our sports rugs.
Supermarket sales
Few things excite the world's strongest hero more than a good discount at the local supermarket. A rug of bright supermarket sale tags and price stickers is a hilarious design for a kitchen or a dorm, and a loving nod to one of the show's best running jokes. In a kitchen, choose Standard for its grip.
A ruined city
Battles in the series tend to flatten whole neighborhoods. A comic-style city skyline, half standing and half rubble, is a dramatic design for a gaming setup or a hallway runner. A custom runner up to 10 ft long fits most hallways. Under a gaming chair, choose Standard, which stays put. For more, see our gaming rugs.
A parody that became a classic
The series pokes fun at the conventions of superhero and battle stories, endless training, power-ups and dramatic speeches, while also delivering some of the most thrilling fights in anime. That balance of comedy and spectacle is why it appeals to both longtime anime fans and newcomers.
The creator's other hit
ONE also created Mob Psycho 100, about a quiet boy with enormous psychic powers who just wants to be normal. For designs inspired by that series, see our Mob Psycho 100 rugs.
The devoted disciple
The hero's cyborg student takes painstaking notes on everything his teacher says, convinced there must be a secret to his strength, while the hero just wants him to keep it short. A notebook-page rug with a training plan and doodles is a funny design for a student's desk or study corner.
A legendary artist
The remake's artist, Yusuke Murata, who previously drew the football manga Eyeshield 21, is famous for incredibly detailed, kinetic fight scenes, sometimes redrawing whole chapters to improve them. That level of craft is part of why the series looks so spectacular on the page.
Roommates and siblings
For roommates who train together, a workout-chart rug in the shared space keeps everyone honest. For siblings, two hero rank cards, each with their own class, start a friendly rivalry.
Home gyms
A workout-chart or giant-fist rug is a fun, motivating centerpiece for a home gym, garage gym or workout corner. Since it goes in the washing machine, sweat and chalk dust aren't a problem at all.
Garage gyms
Many home gyms live in a garage with a concrete floor. A giant-fist or workout-chart rug in the stretching area makes the space warmer and more inviting for early-morning sessions, and it brightens up gray walls. Choose Standard so it stays put on concrete.
Dorms and teen rooms
A hero rank card or color-block rug brings humor and personality to a dorm or a teen's room. Choose Standard on hard floors. For a softer bedroom rug, choose Premium, 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back, about 700 g/m². Our bedroom rugs page has more layouts.
Kids' rooms
The series has comic violence and some intense monsters, so it suits older kids and teens best. The fist, hero colors and workout chart are the most kid-friendly designs.
Entryways
Just inside the front door, a small sale-tags or hero-colors rug is a funny welcome. Keep it indoors, out of the weather, and choose Standard for its grip on tile and wood.
Pairing with furniture
These rugs suit simple, practical rooms, like the hero's own tiny apartment: a low table, floor cushions, a small TV and a stack of manga. For a gym, add a pull-up bar, a jump rope on a hook and a few framed motivational prints of your own.
Colors
One-Punch Man-inspired designs look best in hero yellow, bright red and white, with bold comic black outlines and the cheerful brights of supermarket sale tags.

Gifts
A One-Punch Man-inspired rug makes a great gift for an anime fan, a gym lover or a bargain hunter. A custom hero rank card is the funniest; the workout chart is the most motivating, especially in January.
Sizes, shipping and returns
Rectangles come in 2×3, 2.6×3.9, 3.3×5, 4×6 and 5×7 ft. Round rugs come from 2.6 to 5.9 ft (80 to 180 cm) across, and shaped rugs from 2.6×2.6 up to 5.2×5.9 ft (80×80 to 160×180 cm). Custom sizes go up to 5′11″ × 10′, including long runners. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that. Please only send artwork you're allowed to use for custom designs; official character art and stills belong to their owners. Unused rugs can be returned within 30 days on US orders; custom rugs can't be returned.
Care
Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle and let it air dry flat. Vacuum on a low setting between washes, and blot spills with cold water right away. The design is printed into the fibers, so the colors stay bold, wash after wash. No second punch ever needed.
The S-Class heroes
Above Saitama in the Hero Association's ranking sit the S-Class heroes, the most powerful, at least on paper. Tatsumaki, the Terrible Tornado, is a tiny, furious psychic who can lift buildings. Bang, also known as Silver Fang, is an elderly martial arts master with flowing white hair. Metal Bat swings a steel baseball bat with endless fighting spirit, and Child Emperor, a genius kid with a backpack of gadgets, outsmarts monsters.
Then there's King, called the strongest man on Earth, who is in fact an ordinary man with remarkable luck, whose racing heartbeat, nicknamed the King Engine, terrifies enemies into retreat. He spends his free time playing video games, often with Saitama, which makes him one of the series' funniest characters. Puri-Puri Prisoner, Atomic Samurai and the mysterious Blast, the number-one hero, round out a cast of extraordinary personalities.
Those heroes give rugs plenty of personality. A swirl of green psychic energy is Tatsumaki, a dramatic design for a teen's room. A steel bat leaning against a wall of hero posters is Metal Bat. A gaming controller beside a stack of games, with a faint scar motif, is a perfect inside joke for King fans, and a ranking board with names climbing up the list is a fun design for anyone who loves the Hero Association's bureaucracy.
ONE's original webcomic and Yusuke Murata's redrawn manga both continue, and the anime has reached a worldwide audience. Pair any of these designs with bold primary colors and a framed hero poster, and the room feels like the waiting area of the Hero Association, minus the paperwork.
