About One Piece Rugs
The greatest adventure in manga
One Piece began in Weekly Shōnen Jump in July 1997, written and drawn by Eiichiro Oda, and it has never stopped. The story of Monkey D. Luffy, a rubber-bodied boy in a straw hat who sets out to find the legendary treasure of the Pirate King, has become the best-selling manga of all time, with hundreds of millions of copies in print, a Toei anime running since 1999 with more than a thousand episodes, films, a card game and a live-action series.
Fans have followed the Straw Hat crew for decades, across islands of giants, sky kingdoms, underwater cities and samurai lands, and they speak of it the way people speak of an old friend. A One Piece rug brings that adventure into the room: bright colors, bold symbols and a crew that feels like family. Ours are printed into short velvet, so Oda's crisp linework, saturated colors and tiny background details come out sharp, and they go in the washing machine.
The straw hat
Luffy's straw hat, handed to him as a child by the red-haired pirate Shanks with a promise to return it one day, is the most important object in the series. A simple woven hat with a red band, it means a promise, an inheritance and a dream. On a round rug it's perfect: graphic, warm-toned and instantly recognized by every fan, while looking like a cheerful summer motif to everyone else. For more designs of the captain himself, see our Luffy rugs.
The Jolly Roger
Every pirate crew in One Piece has its own Jolly Roger, and the Straw Hats' grinning skull wearing a straw hat is one of the most recognizable symbols in anime. A Jolly Roger rug is bold, simple and works almost anywhere: a teenager's bedroom, a game room, a man cave. Other crews' flags, Whitebeard's mustache, the Heart Pirates' smiling skull, the Red-Haired Pirates' crossed swords, make great alternatives for fans of the series' other legends.
Wanted posters
Here's a design every One Piece fan loves: the wanted poster. Aged parchment, the word WANTED, a photo, the line DEAD OR ALIVE and a bounty in berries that keeps climbing as the crew causes more trouble. A rug laid out as a wanted poster, for Luffy, for Zoro, or for the whole crew in a grid, is playful and full of character. Through our custom rugs, you can even print a poster with your own photo and an outrageous bounty, a favorite gift idea for birthdays.
The crew
The Straw Hats are what make One Piece special, and each has a symbol and color that suits a room:
| Crew member | Role | Symbols and colors |
|---|---|---|
| Luffy | Captain | The straw hat, red vest, Gear 5's white and gold |
| Zoro | Swordsman | Three swords, green, a bandana |
| Nami | Navigator | Tangerines, maps, the Clima-Tact, orange |
| Usopp | Sniper | The slingshot, Sogeking's mask |
| Sanji | Cook | Black suit, cigarette smoke, a kitchen knife |
| Chopper | Doctor | A pink top hat with a white cross, cherry blossoms |
| Robin | Archaeologist | Blooming hands, Poneglyphs, purple |
| Franky, Brook, Jinbe | Shipwright, musician, helmsman | Cola, a violin and afro, ocean blue |
A single crew member's rug says who your favorite is; a full crew line-up says you love the whole adventure.
Ace, Sabo and Luffy
Few moments in manga hit as hard as the story of the three brothers: Luffy, Ace and Sabo, who swore brotherhood as children by sharing cups of sake on a hill. Ace's orange hat, his fire and the tattoo on his arm, and Sabo's top hat and goggles, are some of the most loved designs in the series. A three-brothers design, or the sake cups on their own, is a deeply meaningful One Piece rug for fans who still haven't recovered from Marineford.
Shanks and the Emperors
Shanks, the red-haired pirate who gave Luffy his hat and lost an arm saving him, is the series' great mentor figure, and one of the Four Emperors who rule the seas alongside legends like Whitebeard, Big Mom and Kaido. Their crews' flags and their towering presence make bold, dramatic designs. A Shanks rug is a lovely companion to a straw hat design: the promise and the person who made it.
Sanji's kitchen
Every Straw Hat adventure runs on food, from Luffy's endless meat on the bone to the feasts Sanji cooks in the Thousand Sunny's galley, and his rule that no one aboard should ever go hungry. A food-themed One Piece design, meat, tangerines from Nami's grove, Sanji's kitchen, is a fun, unexpected choice for a kitchen or a dining nook.
The ships
The Going Merry, the little sheep-headed caravel that carried the crew through the early sagas, is one of the most beloved ships in fiction, and its farewell is one of the series' most emotional scenes. The Thousand Sunny, with its lion's-head figurehead and grassy deck, has been the crew's home ever since. A ship design on a rectangle, sailing across a bright blue sea, is a cheerful, nautical rug that suits a living room or a coastal-themed room as much as an anime fan's bedroom.
Devil Fruits
Devil Fruits, the strange, swirl-patterned fruits that give their eaters powers and take away their ability to swim, are one of One Piece's most distinctive designs. Their spiralling patterns make a wonderful all-over print, and a single fruit, the Gum-Gum, the Flame-Flame or the Op-Op, makes a striking round rug. It's a clever, subtle choice for a fan who wants something less obvious than the Jolly Roger.
Wano and the samurai look
The Wano Country arc took the crew to a land inspired by feudal Japan, with samurai, cherry blossoms, castles and ukiyo-e-style art, and the anime gave it some of its most beautiful episodes. Wano designs, in woodblock-print style with indigo waves, red torii and Zoro in a kimono, are the most elegant One Piece rugs, at home in a Japanese-inspired room as well as a fan's den.
Gear 5
When Luffy awakened Gear 5, his body turning white, his hair a flame of cloud and his laugh echoing across the battlefield as the Sun God Nika, fans around the world celebrated. Its bright white, gold and purple look is unlike anything else in the series. A Gear 5 design is joyful and dramatic, a centerpiece for fans of the modern arcs.
The islands of the Grand Line
Every arc has its own world: Alabasta's desert kingdom, Skypiea above the clouds, Water 7's canals, Thriller Bark's haunted ship, Fishman Island's coral palaces, Dressrosa's toys and flowers, Egghead's future-science island. A landscape from a favorite arc is a softer, more scenic One Piece rug, and a nice way to bring a fan's favorite memory of the story into a calmer room.
The card game
The One Piece Card Game from Bandai has become one of the most popular trading card games in the world. For the table, choose a playmat with the right zones from our One Piece playmats; the rug belongs on the floor around it, under the chairs and in front of the deck shelf.
Colors and rooms
One Piece is bright: sunny yellows, sea blues, Luffy's red, Zoro's green, Nami's orange. In a bedroom, balance a colorful rug with white or grey walls and plain bedding so it reads as the room's one bright accent. In a game room, it adds a sense of fun. If you prefer something calmer, a Wano woodblock design, a ship on a muted sea or a black-and-white Jolly Roger keeps the theme without the color.
Sizes and levels
Under a gaming or desk chair, choose Standard in 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft: its 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back lets wheels roll freely and stays put. In a bedroom or living room, choose Premium, 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back, in 4×6 or 5×7 ft. A straw hat or Jolly Roger on a 3.9 to 5.2 ft (120 to 160 cm) round rug suits almost any room.
A shōnen room
Many One Piece fans love the other great Jump series too. If your shelves also hold Naruto or Dragon Ball, keep one big rug on the floor and let posters and figures carry the rest. Browse every series in our anime rugs.
Gifts
A One Piece rug is a gift that lands with readers who've followed the story since 1997 and with newer fans who found it through the live-action series. If you don't know their favorite crew member, the straw hat or the Jolly Roger is the safest choice. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that.
Care
Vacuum on a low setting each week, blot spills with cold water straight away and wash the rug on a gentle, cold cycle when it needs it; let it air dry flat. The design is printed into the fibers, so the straw hat stays golden.
A note on the series
The Log Pose
On the Grand Line, ordinary compasses spin uselessly, so navigators like Nami wear a Log Pose on their wrist, a glass globe with a needle that locks onto the next island's magnetic field. A rug of a Log Pose on a sea chart, needle pointing toward an unknown island, is a clever nod for any fan who loves the adventure of the journey.

FAQ
Questions about One Piece Rugs
Which One Piece rug design should I start with?
Luffy's straw hat and the Straw Hat Jolly Roger. Both are simple, bold symbols that work on round rugs and in almost any room.
Can I get a wanted poster rug with my own photo?
Yes. A wanted poster of our own design with your photo and a bounty you pick can be printed on any custom size up to 5′11″ × 10′.
Is there a separate Luffy rug page?
Yes. Luffy rugs have their own page; this page covers the whole series, from the crew and ships to the Jolly Rogers and Devil Fruits.
Which One Piece design suits a calmer room?
A Wano woodblock-style design, a ship on a muted sea or a black-and-white Jolly Roger. They keep the theme without the bright colors.
Can I play the One Piece Card Game on a rug?
Use a playmat for that: our One Piece playmats have the zones the card game needs. The rug is for the floor under the table, ideally with a Jolly Roger on it.
Which One Piece rug goes under a gaming chair?
Standard, 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft. A Straw Hat crew lineup or a Grand Line map looks great under a desk, and the faux leather back keeps the rug from creeping.
How do I wash a One Piece rug?
Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle and dry it flat. Sunny yellow, sea blue and Luffy red are printed into the fibers, so they stay bright.
Is this official One Piece merchandise?
No. Straw hats, Jolly Rogers and Grand Line maps are designs inspired by the series; Padrift isn't affiliated with Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha, Toei Animation or Viz Media.
