About Stardew Valley Rugs
Grandpa's farm
Stardew Valley was made almost entirely by one person, Eric Barone, known as ConcernedApe, who spent more than four years programming, drawing, writing and composing it alone. It came out in 2016 and became one of the most beloved games ever made. You leave a grey office job at the Joja Corporation, move to your late grandfather's overgrown farm outside Pelican Town, and slowly build a life: planting crops, raising animals, fishing, mining, making friends and maybe falling in love.
It's a game people return to for comfort, season after season, year after year. A Stardew Valley rug brings that warmth into a real room. Ours are printed into short velvet, so the game's crisp pixel art and soft, seasonal colors come out clean, and they go in the washing machine, which is more than can be said for a real farm.
Junimos
The Junimos, tiny, round forest spirits in every color who live in the abandoned Community Center, are Stardew's most loved creatures. They ask for bundles of crops, fish and goods, and in return they quietly restore the town. A Junimo rug, a cluster of little round spirits in rainbow colors, or a single green Junimo on a round rug, is cute, cheerful and perfect for a bedroom, a kid's room or a cozy gaming corner.
The four seasons
Every year in Stardew has four seasons of 28 days, and each one changes the whole valley:
| Season | Look | Crops and moments |
|---|---|---|
| Spring | Fresh greens, pink blossoms | Parsnips, strawberries, the Flower Dance |
| Summer | Bright sun, deep greens, blue sea | Blueberries, melons, the Luau |
| Fall | Orange, red and gold leaves | Pumpkins, cranberries, Spirit's Eve |
| Winter | Snow, pale blues, warm windows | Foraging, the Feast of the Winter Star |
A seasonal rug can match your room or the time of year. Fall's oranges and golds suit a warm living room, spring's pinks a bright bedroom. Some fans even swap rugs with the seasons, just like the game.
Festivals and the moonlight jellies
Each season brings a festival to Pelican Town: the Egg Festival in spring, the Luau and the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies in summer, the Stardew Valley Fair and Spirit's Eve in fall, the Night Market and the Feast of the Winter Star in winter. The Dance of the Moonlight Jellies, when glowing jellyfish drift past the beach at night, is one of the most magical moments in the game. A moonlight jellies design, soft blue and green lights on a dark sea, is a beautiful, calm rug for a bedroom.
Joja or the Community Center
Every farmer faces a choice: help the Junimos restore the old Community Center, bundle by bundle, or buy a Joja membership and let the corporation turn it into a warehouse. Most players choose the Junimos, and some take quiet pleasure in watching JojaMart close for good. A Community Center design, the restored building with its golden plaque, is a fond nod to the side most fans chose.
Pixel-art crops
Stardew's crops are tiny works of pixel art: parsnips, cauliflowers, strawberries, starfruit, ancient fruit, pumpkins, each instantly recognizable to players. An all-over crop pattern, rows of pixel vegetables and fruit on a soft ground, makes a charming, graphic rug, especially for a kitchen or dining nook. It looks like a cheerful vegetable-garden print to visitors, and like a perfect harvest to you.
The farm animals
Chickens, ducks, rabbits, cows, goats, pigs, sheep, and of course your pet cat or dog by the farmhouse door. Petting every animal every day is a ritual Stardew players take seriously. An animal design, a barn full of pixel cows or a row of chickens, is a gentle, farmhouse-style rug for a kitchen, a kid's room or a mudroom. Our kitchen rugs have more ideas for the room around it.
Your farm
Every player's farm is different: neat rows of sprinklers, winding paths, orchards, greenhouses, ponds, decorations placed tile by tile. Many fans plan their farms obsessively. A top-down farm design, drawn in the game's pixel style, is a delightful rug for the player who spent a whole in-game year perfecting their layout. Through our custom rugs, you can even print a picture of your own farm.
Pelican Town and the villagers
Pelican Town is full of people with their own lives and stories: Abigail, Sebastian, Haley, Leah, Shane, Penny, Harvey, Elliott, Emily, Maru, Alex, Sam, and townsfolk like Robin the carpenter, Pierre at the general store, Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, Linus in his tent, and Krobus living in the sewers. A town design, Pelican Town's square in spring, or a portrait of a favorite villager, is a sweet, nostalgic rug for players who care as much about friendships as crops.
The Stardrop
The Stardrop, a rare, glowing purple fruit that gives a permanent boost to your energy, is one of the game's most magical items, and its name graces the town's saloon. A Stardrop design on a round rug, a single purple star-shaped fruit against a dark background, is a simple, beautiful choice, subtle enough for any room.
A rug like the farmhouse
Here's a small joy for players: in Stardew, you decorate your farmhouse yourself, choosing wallpaper, flooring, furniture and, yes, rugs, from Robin's shop and the traveling cart. Many players spend as long arranging their house as their fields. A rug that looks like one of the game's own pixel rugs, placed in your real home, is a lovely piece of meta decor, as if your farmhouse had followed you out of the screen.
Cooking and the saloon
Cooking matters in Stardew: recipes learned from the Queen of Sauce on television, dishes that restore energy, and evenings at the Stardrop Saloon with Gus behind the bar and Emily serving. A cooking-themed design, pixel dishes from pancakes to pink cake, or the warm interior of the saloon, is a wonderful rug for a kitchen or a dining nook.
The music
Barone also composed the game's soundtrack, gentle seasonal themes that many players leave playing long after they've stopped farming for the day. A seasonal design in a music corner or a study is a quiet nod to those melodies.
Fishing, the mines and beyond
Stardew isn't only farming. Fishing at the pier or the mountain lake, chasing legendary fish, delving into the mines and Skull Cavern for ore and gems, exploring Ginger Island's tropical shores: each has its own look. A fishing design, a pixel pier at sunset with a bobber in the water, suits a calm room, and a gem-and-mine design suits a darker, cozy gaming nook.
Cottagecore and cozy gaming
Stardew is at the heart of the cozy-gaming movement, and its look fits naturally into a cottagecore room: wood, plants, warm lamps, quilts and baskets. A Stardew rug in a gaming corner with a soft chair, a mug of tea and fairy lights is the whole aesthetic in one. If you love that style, our Animal Crossing rugs sit naturally alongside, and our botanical rugs bring in more green.
Co-op farms
Since multiplayer arrived, many couples and friends run farms together, splitting the chores and celebrating each harvest. A Stardew rug is a lovely gift between co-op partners, a reminder of the farm you built side by side, and a two-farmer design is a sweet touch for a shared room.
Kids' rooms
Stardew's gentle, non-violent world makes it a great theme for a child's room. Junimos, farm animals and pixel crops make a cheerful play rug. On slippery floors, choose Standard, 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back, so the rug stays put during play, and remember every rug goes in the washing machine after the inevitable spilled juice.
Sizes and levels
Under a gaming chair, choose Standard in 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft: its non-slip back lets wheels roll freely and stays put. In a bedroom or living room, choose Premium, 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back, in 4×6 or 5×7 ft for a seasonal scene. In a kitchen, a 2×3 ft Standard rug with a crop pattern grips the floor. A Junimo or Stardrop suits a 3.3 to 3.9 ft (100 to 120 cm) round rug.
Gifts
A Stardew Valley rug is a perfect gift for the friend who has played every season, or the one who just planted their first parsnips. If you aren't sure which design to choose, a Junimo is the safest and the cutest. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that.
Care
Vacuum on a low setting each week, blot spills with cold water straight away and wash the rug on a gentle, cold cycle when it needs it; let it air dry flat. The design is printed into the fibers, so the pixels stay crisp.
A note on the game
Starfruit, Ancient Fruit and the keg
Experienced farmers know the most profitable crops: Starfruit in summer, and Ancient Fruit, grown from mysterious seeds and harvested again and again in the greenhouse. Turned into wine in kegs, they pay for everything. A rug of pixel-art starfruit and ancient fruit around a wooden keg is a cozy, insider design for a player's kitchen or gaming corner.
In a real farmhouse kitchen, it sits nicely beside canning jars and a bowl of fresh fruit.
