About Rainbow Six Siege Rugs

Every wall is a door

Rainbow Six Siege, from Ubisoft Montreal, launched in 2015 and grew, season by season, into one of the most demanding and devoted tactical shooters in gaming. Two teams of five, attackers and defenders, fight over a single building, and almost everything can be destroyed: walls, floors, ceilings, barricades. Every round is a puzzle of information, angles and timing. The series traces its roots back to a Tom Clancy novel and the original Rainbow Six game of 1998, and in 2025 Siege X relaunched the game for a new generation of players.

Siege players think in floor plans, callouts and gadgets, and a Siege rug speaks that language. Ours are printed into short velvet, so the crisp lines of a blueprint, sharp operator icons and tactical colors come out clean, and they go in the washing machine.

Operator icons

Siege's operators each have a distinct icon, a small emblem tied to their gadget and their counter-terrorism unit, and players learn them all by heart. A grid of operator icons, the attackers on one side and defenders on the other, is one of the most recognizable Siege designs, graphic and clean, perfect for a setup. A single favorite operator's icon on a round rug is a sharp, personal choice for a main.

Blueprints of the maps

Siege's maps are learned floor by floor, room by room, and the in-game blueprints, top-down floor plans with every room, hatch and window labeled, are as familiar to players as their own homes. A blueprint rug, a map's floor plan in white technical lines on navy blue, is one of the most elegant gaming rugs there is: it looks like an architect's drawing to visitors, and like hours of practice to players.

A map design suits a player who mains one site, so ask about their favorite map before choosing a gift.

A favorite map's blueprint, perhaps with your go-to defensive setup marked through our custom rugs, is a deeply personal design for a dedicated player.

Attack and defense

Every round, one team attacks and one defends, and players often prefer one side. A split design, attackers on one half and defenders on the other, divided by a reinforced wall, is a clever, graphic rug for a five-stack's shared room, or for two friends who argue about which side is harder.

Breaching

Siege is famous for its destruction: breach charges blasting holes in walls, thermite cutting through reinforcements, sledgehammers smashing floors and drones scouting through the gaps. The moment a wall opens is pure adrenaline. A breach design, a reinforced wall with a glowing hole cut through it, is a dramatic, graphic rug for a setup, and a clever nod to the game's signature mechanic.

Drones and cameras

Information wins rounds in Siege. Attackers send in small wheeled drones to scout; defenders watch through security cameras and gadgets that hide in walls. A drone design, the little rolling scout with its glowing lens, is a fun, recognizable rug for a setup, and a reminder to always drone before pushing.

The operators

Siege's roster has grown to dozens of operators from units around the world, each with a gadget and a personality: Ash and Thermite, Sledge and Thatcher, Twitch and Montagne, Jäger and Bandit, Mute and Rook, Doc and Valkyrie, Caveira and Ela, and many more added each season. Players often have a favorite pair, one attacker and one defender. A portrait of a main operator in full gear makes a striking rug for their biggest fan.

The original units

At launch, Siege's operators came from five real-world counter-terrorism units: Britain's SAS, France's GIGN, Russia's Spetsnaz, Germany's GSG 9 and the FBI SWAT team. Many more units from around the world followed. Each unit has its own emblem and color scheme, and a unit-themed design, the five original badges in a row, is a sharp, military rug for fans who remember the first season.

Roles on the team

Experienced Siege squads divide into roles: the entry fragger who opens the site, the support who lays down utility, the anchor who holds the objective to the last second and the roamer who hunts attackers elsewhere in the building. Players identify with their role as much as their operator. A role-themed rug, with a title in bold stencil lettering, is a fun, personal touch for a squad room.

Where it started

Rainbow Six began in 1998 with a game by Red Storm Entertainment, released alongside Tom Clancy's novel of the same name, about an international counter-terrorism team. The early games were famous for their detailed planning phase, drawing routes on blueprints before a mission. Siege's floor plans carry that tradition forward, which makes a blueprint rug a nod to the whole history of the series.

Arcade events

Between ranked seasons, Siege runs playful limited-time events: the alien-infested Outbreak mode, holiday snowball fights and Halloween-themed matches with wild costumes. A design inspired by a favorite event brings a lighter, funnier side of Siege into a room.

Callouts

Siege players communicate in callouts: room names, spawn points, "rotating", "roaming", "plant down". Every map has its own vocabulary. A callout design, a blueprint with every room labeled in bold, is both decor and a training tool, a fun way to help a new teammate learn a map.

The Six Invitational

Siege has one of esports' most loyal communities, with professional leagues around the world and the Six Invitational, its annual world championship. Fans follow their favorite teams through every season. A rug in a team's colors is a jersey for the floor, and for an amateur team or a club, our custom rugs can print your team's logo in any size up to 5′11″ × 10′.

Seasons and Siege X

Siege has run in seasons since launch, each adding operators, maps and reworks, and players remember the year they started by the operators released then. Siege X, in 2025, refreshed the game with new modes and a free way to play, bringing in a new wave of recruits. A season-themed design is a nice way to mark when you joined the fight.

A tactical setup

Siege players take their setups seriously: a high-refresh monitor, a good headset for hearing footsteps and a chair that never moves at the wrong moment. Under the chair, choose Standard in 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft: its 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back stays put during tense clutches and lets wheels roll freely. If your library also includes Counter-Strike or Valorant, you'll find their pages too. Browse more in our gaming rugs.

Sound matters

In Siege, hearing is half the game: footsteps on the floor above, a drone rolling past, a breach charge being placed. Many players treat their headset as their most important piece of gear. A soft rug also cuts down echo in a hard-floored gaming room, which makes calls with your squad clearer, a small, practical bonus for a game built on communication.

Streaming

If you stream, a blueprint or operator-icon rug reads clearly on camera and looks professional, without the visual noise of busy art. Keep the lighting cool and even so the white lines stay crisp on screen.

Colors and rooms

Siege's palette is tactical: navy, charcoal, black and steel, with attacker orange and defender blue as accents. Blueprints in white on navy suit a modern setup or a study; an attacker-defender split brings in two bold colors. It's a look that works in almost any minimalist room, gamer or not.

Sizes and levels

An operator icon or a drone suits a 3.3 to 4.6 ft (100 to 140 cm) round rug. A map blueprint, an operator grid or an attack-defense split suits a rectangle, 4×6 or 5×7 ft. For a lounge where the squad watches matches, choose Premium, 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back.

Gifts

A Rainbow Six Siege rug is a great gift for a five-stack teammate, a ranked grinder or a friend who has played since launch. If you aren't sure which design to choose, a map blueprint is the safest, and Bank or Clubhouse are the maps nearly every player knows by heart after years of competitive play. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that.

Care

Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle and let it air dry flat. Vacuum on a low setting between washes. The design is printed into the fibers, so the blueprint lines stay sharp, season after season.

A note on the game

Reinforcements and hard breaches

Defenders reinforce walls with steel panels; attackers answer with hard breachers like Thermite and his exothermic charge, which burns a hole straight through. That duel is the heart of many rounds. A rug drawn as a reinforced wall with a glowing breach ring burning through its center is a perfect design for a tactical setup.
