About League of Legends Rugs
Welcome to Summoner's Rift
League of Legends was released by Riot Games in 2009 and grew into one of the most played games on Earth. Two teams of five champions, three lanes, a jungle full of monsters and a Nexus at each end: simple to describe, endlessly deep to master. Its world championship fills stadiums and draws online audiences in the tens of millions, and its universe of Runeterra has expanded into card games, spin-offs, music and the award-winning animated series Arcane.
For players, League is more than a game; it's years of ranked climbs, late-night duo queues and champions they've played hundreds of times. A League of Legends rug puts that world under the desk where it all happens. Ours are printed into short velvet, so splash-art detail, glowing abilities and the tiny icons of a minimap come out crisp, and they go in the washing machine.
The map as a rug
Here's an idea every League player understands immediately: a rug of Summoner's Rift seen from above. The three lanes, the river cutting diagonally across, the jungle camps, the towers and the two bases sit naturally on a square or rectangular floor, and under a gaming chair you're quite literally sitting in the middle of the map. It's one of the most original gaming rugs there is, and a conversation starter for anyone who has ever pinged "on my way".
Fans of other modes have their own favorite maps: the frozen bridge of the Howling Abyss for ARAM players, or the small arenas of Teamfight Tactics. Any of them works as a top-down rug.
Poros
The Poro, the round, fluffy, tongue-out creature from the Freljord, is League's unofficial mascot. Players feed them Poro-Snax on the Howling Abyss, and they appear on everything from plush toys to emotes. A Poro on a round rug is cute, simple and instantly recognized by any League player, and it's one of the friendliest designs for a shared room or a younger player's bedroom.
The champions
League has more than 170 champions, and every player has a main. Some of the most loved for decor:
- Jinx, the chaotic gunner from Zaun, now even more popular after Arcane.
- Ahri, the nine-tailed fox mage, one of the game's faces.
- Yasuo and Yone, the wandering swordsman brothers of Ionia.
- Lux, the light mage of Demacia, and her brother Garen.
- Thresh, the lantern-carrying warden of the Shadow Isles.
- Teemo, the tiny scout every player loves to hate.
- Lee Sin, Ezreal, Kai'Sa, Akali and the dozens of others that fill a main's top-three list.
A champion rug says who you main; a team line-up in your favorite lane says how you play.
Skin lines
For many players, a champion's skin matters as much as the champion. League's themed skin lines have looks of their own:
- Star Guardian, magical-girl pastels and starlight.
- Spirit Blossom, cherry blossoms, lanterns and Japanese folklore.
- K/DA, the virtual pop group whose "POP/STARS" became a real hit in 2018.
- PROJECT, cyberpunk armor and neon.
- Arcade, retro pixel art and 1980s color.
- High Noon, demonic Western, and Pool Party, pure summer.
Skin-line designs are a great way to match a rug to a room's colors: Spirit Blossom's soft pinks and blues for a calm bedroom, PROJECT's neon for an RGB setup, Star Guardian's pastels for a dreamy, light room.
The regions of Runeterra
League's world is divided into regions, each with its own crest, culture and palette. Players often identify with one:
| Region | Look | Champions |
|---|---|---|
| Demacia | White, gold and royal blue, winged crest | Garen, Lux, Jarvan IV |
| Noxus | Crimson, black, steel | Darius, Swain, Katarina |
| Ionia | Blossom pinks, jade, spirit magic | Ahri, Yasuo, Irelia |
| Piltover and Zaun | Brass, hextech blue, toxic green | Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Ekko |
| Freljord | Ice blue, white, fur and frost | Ashe, Braum, Sejuani |
| Shadow Isles | Spectral green on black | Thresh, Hecarim, Viego |
| Shurima | Desert gold and turquoise | Azir, Nasus, Sivir |
Players usually choose the region of their main champion, so a Jinx player may want Piltover and Zaun while an Ahri main leans toward Ionia. If you're buying a gift, check their most-played champion first.
A region crest on a round rug is one of the most elegant League designs: it reads as a heraldic emblem to visitors and as a team badge to players.
The Void
Beyond the regions lies the Void, a realm of hunger that has given League some of its strangest and most striking champions: Cho'Gath, Kha'Zix, Vel'Koz, Rek'Sai, Bel'Veth and Kai'Sa, the girl who survived inside it. Void designs live in deep purples, magentas and glowing eyes on black, an alien, almost cosmic palette that suits a dark gaming room with purple LED lighting better than any other League theme.
Ranked emblems
Every ranked season ends with a crest: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster and Challenger, each with its own metal and gemstone. For players who spent a season climbing, a rank emblem on a round rug is a trophy for the floor, and an honest one; there's a certain charm, too, in proudly displaying Silver. It's also a fun gift for a duo partner who carried you through promotion.
The music
League has a surprisingly strong music history. K/DA turned four champions into a pop group, True Damage brought hip-hop, Pentakill has released heavy metal albums, and Heartsteel became a boy band. Every year's Worlds anthem gets played on repeat long after the finals. A rug inspired by a favorite band's look, K/DA's gold-and-purple glam or Pentakill's black and chrome, is a great fit for a music corner or a streaming setup.
Objectives and monsters
Baron Nashor, the purple serpent in his pit; the elemental Dragons and the Elder Dragon; the Rift Herald; the little blue and red buff monsters; and the endless march of minions. These are some of the most recognizable shapes in esports, and a Baron or Dragon design makes a dramatic rug for a setup, a reminder of every game won and lost around those pits.
Esports and Worlds
League's world championship is one of the biggest events in esports, with legendary teams and players, Faker the most famous of them all, and anthems that fans know by heart. For players who follow the competitive scene, a design inspired by the Summoner's Cup or a favorite team's colors makes a rug that feels like a jersey for the floor.
Arcane
Arcane, the animated series set in Piltover and Zaun, brought League's characters to millions of viewers who had never played. Its painterly style, Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce and Viktor, hextech and the undercity's green haze, is among the most striking in animation. Arcane has its own page: see our Arcane rugs.
The wider universe
Runeterra now spans Teamfight Tactics with its Little Legends, the mobile Wild Rift, the card game Legends of Runeterra, and Riftbound, Riot's physical trading card game. For tabletop players, a playmat is the right tool for the table, and you'll find those in our Riftbound playmats. The rug belongs on the floor around it.
A League setup
A League of Legends setup is about long sessions, so comfort and grip matter. Under the gaming chair, choose Standard in 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft: its 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back lets the wheels roll freely and stays put through a forty-minute game. Match the room's lighting to the rug, hextech blue for Piltover, green for the Shadow Isles, purple for Baron, and keep figures and plushies on a shelf above the monitor. For more ideas, see our gaming rugs and desk chair rugs.
If you stream, remember that the floor often shows up on a wide or overhead camera. A rug with a strong, simple design, a region crest, a Poro, a Rift map, reads clearly on stream and quickly becomes part of your channel's recognizable look, while busy splash art can turn to noise at low bitrate.
Bedrooms
For a bedroom, choose softer art: a Spirit Blossom scene, a Poro, an Ionian landscape or a Star Guardian sky. Premium, 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back, is warmer and softer for bare feet, in 2.6×3.9 ft beside the bed or 4×6 ft at the foot.
Gifts for players
A League rug is a great gift for the friend who's been "one game away" from promotion for three seasons. If you don't know their main, a Poro, a Summoner's Rift map or their favorite region's crest is the safest choice. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that.
Care
Vacuum on a low setting each week, blot spills with cold water straight away and wash the rug on a gentle, cold cycle when it needs it; let it air dry flat. The design is printed into the fibers, so the colors stay bright after many washes.
A note on the game
Teemo's mushrooms
Few things frustrate players more than Teemo's invisible mushroom traps scattered across the jungle. A rug of a cheerful little Yordle scout's mushroom field, with tiny red-capped toadstools hiding in the grass, is a funny design for a League player's room, and a running joke every teammate will recognize the moment they step on it.

FAQ
Questions about League of Legends Rugs
Can I get a Summoner's Rift map rug?
A top-down map of Summoner's Rift is one of the best League designs for a gaming chair rug. For an exact layout of your own, our custom rugs can print your artwork.
Which League design suits a shared room?
A Poro or a region crest such as Demacia, Ionia or the Freljord. Both look like friendly or heraldic designs to people who don't play.
Do you have Arcane rugs too?
Yes. Arcane has its own page, with Jinx, Vi and the look of Piltover and Zaun from the animated series.
Which skin line works best for a calm bedroom?
Spirit Blossom, with its soft pinks, blues and lanterns, or Star Guardian's pastels. PROJECT and Arcade suit a bright RGB setup instead.
Which League of Legends rug goes under a gaming chair?
Standard in 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft. A Summoner's Rift map or a Demacia or Noxus crest stays flat on its faux leather back, so the chair rolls freely through a long ranked night.
Can I play Riftbound on a rug?
Not really: the card game needs a playmat with zones, and our Riftbound playmats are made for that. A rug belongs on the floor under the table, with a Rift map or a Poro.
How do I wash a League of Legends rug?
Gentle cold cycle, then dry it flat. Demacian gold, Noxian red and Ionian greens are printed into the fibers, so every region stays vivid.
Is this official League of Legends merchandise?
No. Our Runeterra region designs are original; Padrift isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games.
