About Fortnite Rugs

Where we dropping?

Fortnite's Battle Royale mode, from Epic Games, launched as a free game in September 2017 and became a global phenomenon: a hundred players jump from a flying bus onto an island, scavenge for weapons, build walls and ramps in seconds, and fight to be the last one standing as a storm closes in. Its bright, cartoonish style, dances and constant reinvention made it a cultural event, especially for children and teenagers, and it has grown into a whole platform of games, concerts and creative worlds.

For many kids, Fortnite is the game they play with their friends after school, and a Fortnite rug is one of the easiest ways to make their room feel like theirs. Ours are printed into short velvet, so the game's bright colors and bold shapes come out crisp and cheerful, and they go in the washing machine, which every parent will appreciate.

The loot llama

The loot llama, a purple, piñata-style llama that bursts open with supplies, is one of Fortnite's most iconic and lovable symbols. Simple, colorful and a little silly, it's perfect for a round rug. A llama design is the friendliest Fortnite choice, as at home in a younger child's room as in a teenager's gaming corner.

The Battle Bus

Every match begins on the Battle Bus, a blue school bus hanging from a hot-air balloon, flying over the island while players choose where to jump. It's an image every Fortnite player knows. A Battle Bus design, the bus against a bright sky with tiny gliders dropping out, is a cheerful, adventurous rug for a bedroom or playroom.

The characters

Fortnite's world is full of characters and skins, and every player has favorites:

  • Jonesy, the everyman face of the game, in many versions.
  • Peely, the walking banana, a fan favorite.
  • Fishstick, the fish in a fish costume, and Meowscles, the muscular cat.
  • Drift, Raven, Skull Trooper and Midas, each with a loyal following.

A favorite skin makes a personal rug; Peely and Fishstick are especially fun for younger players.

Victory Royale

Winning a match brings up the words every player wants to see: Victory Royale. That moment, after a tense final circle, is the reason players keep dropping in. A Victory Royale design, bold lettering with a burst of color, is a celebratory rug for a gaming setup, and a great reward for a young player's first win.

Rarity colors

Every weapon and item in Fortnite has a rarity, shown by its color, and kids learn them immediately:

ColorRarity
GreyCommon
GreenUncommon
BlueRare
PurpleEpic
GoldLegendary

A rarity-themed design, a burst of legendary gold or a gradient through the colors, is a bright, graphic rug that's easy to match to a room's colors, and a fun one to explain to grandparents.

The island and drop spots

Fortnite's map changes with every chapter, but players remember their favorite locations forever: Tilted Towers, Pleasant Park, Retail Row, Salty Springs, Lazy Lake and many more. Some returned in Fortnite OG, bringing the original island back for a new generation. A map design, the island seen from the Battle Bus, is a great play rug for younger kids, who can drop their toys into their favorite spot.

Building

Fortnite's signature mechanic is building: players turn wood, brick and metal into walls, ramps and towers in seconds, and the best builders can construct a fortress mid-fight. A building-themed design, ramps and walls in the game's blue build outlines, is a clever rug for a player who'd rather build than shoot, and our Minecraft rugs suit the same young builders.

Chapters and seasons

Fortnite reinvents itself constantly. Each season brings a new battle pass, new skins and changes to the island, and each new chapter replaces the map entirely. Players remember which season they started playing, and which skins they unlocked. A season-themed design, its key art or colors, is a nice way to mark the year a child fell in love with the game.

Creative and player-made islands

In Creative mode and with Epic's own editor, players build their own islands, games and obstacle courses, and many young players first discover game design there. A rug for a budding creator's room, perhaps with their own island's design through our custom rugs, celebrates the builder as much as the player.

Competitive Fortnite

Fortnite also has a serious competitive scene, with tournaments around the world. In 2019, its first World Cup, held in New York, was won by a sixteen-year-old player who took home three million dollars, inspiring a generation of young competitors. For a player who practices builds and edits every day, a Victory Royale or rarity-gold design is the perfect motivational rug.

Save the World

Before the battle royale, there was Save the World, Fortnite's original cooperative mode, in which players build forts to defend against storm-spawned monsters called husks. Long-time fans remember it fondly. A design inspired by its fort-building and storm skies is a deep cut for players who were there from the start.

Dances and emotes

Fortnite's emotes made dances like the Floss and Orange Justice famous around the world, performed in school playgrounds everywhere. A dance-themed design, a character mid-emote, is a joyful rug for a child's room, and a reminder of the game's lighter side.

Concerts, events and collaborations

Fortnite is known for live events that millions attend together: in-game concerts, world-changing finales and a black hole that once swallowed the whole map. It has also welcomed characters from Marvel, Star Wars and many more. For a fan who loves a particular crossover, our Marvel rugs and Star Wars rugs have their own designs.

LEGO, racing and festivals

Fortnite is now more than a battle royale: LEGO Fortnite for building and survival, Fortnite Festival for music and Rocket Racing for cars, alongside thousands of player-made islands in Creative. For a child who loves the LEGO side, our Lego rugs are a natural companion.

Gliders and pickaxes

Every player customizes more than a skin: the glider they open after leaping from the Battle Bus, the pickaxe they swing to gather materials, the back bling on their shoulders. Kids often know their whole locker by heart. A glider design, soaring over the island, is a lovely, uplifting rug for a bedroom.

Birthday parties

Fortnite birthday parties are a favorite for many kids: llama piñatas, Battle Bus cakes, supply-drop goody bags and a "Victory Royale" banner for the birthday child. A rug can carry the party theme into the bedroom long after the cake is gone, and it makes a gift the birthday child will see every day.

Siblings and shared rooms

When brothers and sisters share a room and a love of Fortnite, a design with several characters, or a squad dropping from the Battle Bus together, keeps everyone happy. A larger rug, 5×7 ft, gives room for two to play and sit on the floor together.

Kids' rooms

Fortnite is especially popular with children aged eight to fourteen, and a Fortnite rug is often requested for birthdays and bedroom makeovers. Bright designs like the llama, the Battle Bus or Peely suit a child's room; on slippery floors, choose Standard, 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back, so the rug stays put during wild victory dances. And every rug goes in the washing machine after spilled snacks.

Teen bedrooms and setups

For teenagers with a gaming setup, Standard under the chair in 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft lets wheels roll freely and stays put. A Victory Royale, rarity-gold or favorite-skin design, with matching LED lighting, makes the setup feel personal. See our gaming rugs for more ideas.

Colors and rooms

Fortnite's palette is bright and saturated: sky blues, grass greens, llama purple, legendary gold and Peely yellow. Bright designs look best with simple, neutral surroundings, white walls, grey or wood furniture, so the rug is the room's colorful centerpiece.

Sizes and levels

A loot llama or a single character suits a 3.3 to 3.9 ft (100 to 120 cm) round rug. The Battle Bus, a map or Victory Royale suits a rectangle, 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft. For a larger play area, choose 5×7 ft. Choose Premium, 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back, for a softer bedroom rug where kids sit and play on the floor.

Gifts

A Fortnite rug is one of the most requested gifts for young gamers. If you aren't sure which skin they love, the loot llama or the Battle Bus is the safest. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that, so order a little ahead of birthdays.

Care

Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle and let it air dry flat. Vacuum on a low setting between washes, and blot spills with cold water straight away. The design is printed into the fibers, so the llama stays purple.

A note on the game

The storm

Every match ends in the same place: inside a shrinking circle, with the purple storm closing in from every side. A round rug with a bright island center ringed by swirling violet makes a fun, graphic design for a gaming setup, and it doubles as a reminder that there's always time for one more round before bed.
