About this design
An autumn cottage garden in full bloom. This flower MTG playmat sweeps from deep crimson dahlias on the left, through a glowing mound of orange marigolds in the center, to pink hollyhocks, blue delphiniums and red poppies on the right. White daisies, purple pansies and nasturtium leaves fill the gaps.
Crimson, orange, cobalt, pink and green make a warm, rich palette. The orange center draws the eye, and the dense flowers frame it on both sides. Small gold flecks in the background shimmer under table lights.
It follows the Klimt garden style, with flat, mosaic-like color, vertical stems and tiny gold circles in the green background. Thin gold lines trace some dahlia and poppy petals. It is the warmest of our Klimt garden designs, and it sits beautifully alongside the poppy and iris versions. Look closely and you will spot nasturtium leaves and a few small bursts of color hidden in the lower corners.
Size is 24 x 14 in (61.5 x 35.5 cm), standard tournament size. Cards slide and lift clean off the micro-fiber top, sleeved or not. A non-slip rubber base keeps the mat locked in place through long Commander nights. We print with dye-sublimation, so the warm colors are set into the fabric and will not crack or fade. Stitched edges keep the border neat and stop fraying, even after years of rolling it into a bag for tournament weekends.
