A peacock stands at the left of this Peacock Pomegranate MTG playmat, its long eyed tail trailing all the way to the bottom edge, while a peahen walks through the flowers beside it. Split pomegranates hang open from the branches above, seeds showing. On the far right, two white doves sit close together in a fig tree.
Jewel tones run through the whole surface: teal, garnet, plum and cream over a near-black ground. Its tail anchors the left third, the doves balance the right, and the flowerbed across the center gives cards a patterned but even background to rest on.
The Art: Jewel-Tone Garden Tapestry
Feather by feather, the peacock is built from tiny scale shapes edged in gold, and each tail eye is drawn as a separate ringed medallion. Carnations, striped tulips, garden roses and anemones crowd the lower half. Big curling acanthus leaves in pale blue-grey cut through the reds and keep the composition from feeling heavy. The fig leaves on the right are broad and flat, which contrasts nicely with the fine pomegranate foliage on the left.
Peacock Pomegranate at the Table
Laid flat, the mat covers 24 x 14 in (61.5 x 35.5 cm), standard tournament size, with room for a full Commander board. A micro-fiber top keeps card handling smooth. Thanks to the non-slip rubber base, it stays exactly where you put it. Colors are dye-sublimated into the fabric for prints that hold up to heavy play without cracking or fading. It belongs to our MTG playmats line, and our flagship woodland tapestry playmat carries the same theme in another scene. For other card games, see our full range of TCG playmats.
With Zones or Without Zones
Want structure? With Zones adds faint markers for library, graveyard, exile, the command zone and battlefield lanes, ideal as an MTG commander playmat or for 60-card play. Without Zones keeps the garden uninterrupted. Same backing, same stitched edge, same print.
