A badger noses out from the roots of a hollow oak on this Moonlit Badger Owl Forest MTG playmat, while a tawny owl keeps watch from the branch above. From the bottom right corner, a hedgehog shuffles in. Overhead, a thin crescent moon and scattered gold stars show through a gap in the canopy.
Of all our woodland tapestries, this is the darkest. Cream wildflowers and pale mushrooms pick out the lower edge. Pink foxgloves rise on both sides like bookends, and the moon pulls the eye up into the top right, so the center of the mat stays readable once your cards go down.
The Art: Autumn Night Tapestry
Oak leaves here are already turning, shifting from green to bronze and gold, and acorns are dropping into the ferns below. Rowan berries add small red sparks along the right side. Moths drift between the branches. Gold leaf runs down the tree bark in thin streaks that catch the light when the mat is flat on a table, and the night sky behind the trees uses layered navy instead of plain black, so the scene has depth.
Moonlit Badger Owl Forest at the Table
Every mat is cut to 24 x 14 in (61.5 x 35.5 cm), standard tournament size. Cards move freely on the micro-fiber surface. A non-slip rubber base keeps it planted, which matters on slick store tables during a long game. Dye-sublimation sets the deep blues and greens inside the fabric, so the dark areas stay rich instead of fading grey. Browse the rest of our MTG mats, or compare it with our flagship woodland tapestry playmat. For other card games, see our full range of TCG playmats.
With Zones or Without Zones
Pick With Zones for gentle guides showing library, graveyard, exile, the command zone and battlefield lanes for lands and creatures. That setup works as an MTG commander playmat and for 60-card formats like Pioneer or Modern. Without Zones leaves the night forest open. Both versions are printed at the same quality.
