About this design
Wheat, oats, lavender sprigs, poppy seed pods, bunny-tail grass and tiny dried blossoms stand side by side on this dried flower MTG playmat, all set against a warm terracotta background. Thin gold strokes catch the light along a few stems.
Terracotta, wheat gold, blush and lavender make a warm, earthy, boho palette. The stems run vertically across the mat in an even rhythm. Cards sit nicely on the warm background, and nothing in the pattern competes with them.
Ink line work with soft color fills and a marbled, textured background. Each stem is drawn delicately, with wheat grains, oat husks and lavender buds clearly defined. It feels like a dried bouquet laid out on clay. Warm, calm and modern. Lavender adds just a hint of purple, and the poppy pods give the pattern a pleasing round rhythm between all the tall, thin stems.
Size is 24 x 14 in (61.5 x 35.5 cm), standard tournament size. Cards slide and lift clean off the micro-fiber top, sleeved or not. A non-slip rubber base keeps the mat locked in place through long Commander nights. We print with dye-sublimation, so the warm tones are set into the fabric and will not crack or fade. Stitched edges keep the border neat and stop fraying, even after years of rolling it into a bag for tournament weekends.
