About this design
A green wooden footbridge arches across a water lily pond on this bridge MTG playmat, draped in long purple wisteria. Pink roses, irises and willows crowd the banks. Behind it, the sky burns orange and rose, and the whole sunset reflects in the still water below, broken up by floating lilies.
Lilac, sage, sunset orange and pink make a warm, romantic palette. The bridge spans the upper half, and the reflective pond fills the lower half, a calm, open space for your battlefield.
Painted in thick impressionist strokes, in homage to Monet's Japanese footbridge at Giverny, here shown at sunset with wisteria in full bloom. Thin gold lines trace the bridge rails and lily pads. Dreamy, warm and very peaceful. It pairs naturally with our Monet water lily design. Small pink lilies float near the far bank too.
Size is 24 x 14 in (61.5 x 35.5 cm), standard tournament size. Cards slide and lift clean off the micro-fiber top, sleeved or not. A non-slip rubber base keeps the mat locked in place through long Commander nights. We print with dye-sublimation, so the colors are set into the fabric and will not crack or fade. Stitched edges keep the border neat and stop fraying, even after years of rolling it into a bag for tournament weekends.
