About this design
A black cat sleeps soundly in the center of this black cat MTG playmat, curled into a tight round circle with one paw over its face. Around it bloom old-fashioned roses in blush and crimson, purple violets, lily of the valley, rosebuds and climbing vines, all set against deep burgundy.
Burgundy, rose, sage and black make a dramatic, romantic palette. The cat sits right at the heart of the mat, framed by a symmetrical floral border. Darker gaps between flowers give your cards a solid backdrop.
It looks like an antique embroidered tapestry, with stitched textures in every petal and thin gold threads tracing the roses and the cat's outline. The cat's fur is velvety black with subtle gold highlights. Gothic, cozy and elegant all at once. Look for the tiny purple violets tucked into the border.
Size is 24 x 14 in (61.5 x 35.5 cm), standard tournament size. Cards slide and lift clean off the micro-fiber top, sleeved or not.
