About World of Warcraft Mouse Pads
World of Warcraft mouse pads for the desk
Our World of Warcraft mouse pads and desk mats carry art inspired by Azeroth and its factions, printed edge to edge on a 3 mm neoprene pad with a fabric top, a non-slip base and stitched edges. There are eight sizes, running from an 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) mouse pad up to a 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) desk mat, and every pad is printed once you place your order.
In WoW, the desk itself is part of the experience. Raids last for hours, the mouse never stops moving, and a good setup is a point of pride. A WoW mouse pad is less decoration than equipment: the surface your mouse spends thousands of hours on, with your faction, your class or your favorite expansion underneath it.
For the Alliance or for the Horde
Every character belongs to one side, and the two sides have palettes as opposed as their politics. The Alliance flies blue and gold under the lion of Stormwind, a clean, bright combination that suits white or silver peripherals and cool light. The Horde marches under red and black, with the jagged emblem of Orgrimmar, which belongs on a black desk with red RGB.
A faction crest is the simplest WoW design there is, and it works on any size. On the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad, place it toward the top so your mouse hand doesn't cover it. On a desk mat, a crest at one end and your faction's color across the rest turns the whole desk into a banner.
Your class, your colors
World of Warcraft gives every class its own color, used for names in chat, raid frames and the meters that tell you how well you did. If you have played for a while, you know your class color by heart, which makes it a natural way to pick a pad.
- Warlock purple and Demon Hunter magenta suit dark setups with purple RGB.
- Death Knight red pairs with a black keyboard and red lighting.
- Mage light blue and Shaman blue suit white desks and cool light.
- Druid orange and Rogue yellow bring warmth to a wooden desk.
- Hunter green, Monk jade and Evoker teal sit well with plants and natural wood.
- Paladin pink, Priest white and Warrior tan are the lightest, for pastel or white setups.
Matching the mat to your main's class color is a small detail that fellow players will recognize in a setup photo.
A map of Azeroth
Azeroth is a world built across two decades of expansions: the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor from the original game, then Northrend, Pandaria, the Broken Isles, Kul Tiras and Zandalar, the Dragon Isles and Khaz Algar. A world map works as a desk mat the same way a real atlas does, with the continents spread across the surface and the keyboard sitting in the sea between them.
Maps are full of small names, so they need room. Choose XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), or larger, where zone names stay readable around the keyboard and you can still point to where you leveled your first character.
Expansions as eras
Every expansion has its own look, and the one you started with is often the one you remember best.
- Wrath of the Lich King (2008): icy blue and steel, with Arthas and Frostmourne, for a cool white or blue setup.
- Cataclysm (2010): fire and molten orange, with Deathwing tearing the world apart, for a dark desk with orange light.
- Mists of Pandaria (2012): jade, red lacquer and misty mountains, the calmest palette in the game.
- Legion (2016): fel green on black, with Illidan and the Burning Legion, for green RGB.
- Dragonflight (2022) and The War Within (2024): bright dragon colors and the deep earth of Khaz Algar.
- Midnight: the return to Quel'Thalas, in the gold of the blood elves against the purple of the Void.
Classic and the old world
World of Warcraft launched in November 2004, and WoW Classic, released in 2019, brought that original version back for players who wanted to relive it. Classic has a look of its own: the old login screen, the original zones before Cataclysm reshaped them and a slightly rougher, hand-painted texture style. A Classic-inspired pad suits players who remember Molten Core and the long walk through the Barrens, and it pairs well with a retro or wooden desk rather than a full RGB setup.
A pad for an MMO mouse and long raids
WoW asks more of a mouse pad than most games. You hold the right button and drag to turn the camera, click through spells and loot, and, if you use an MMO mouse with a grid of side buttons, rest your hand on it for hours at a time. A large, consistent surface makes all of that easier.
The fabric top gives an even, controlled glide so camera turns feel the same anywhere on the pad, and the non-slip base keeps the mat from creeping during a tense pull. The cushioned neoprene matters most on raid night, when your wrist rests on the same spot for four hours. For a WoW setup, XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), is a good starting point, with space for the keyboard, the mouse and a drink well away from both.
The capital cities
Every faction has a home, and each capital has a look of its own. Stormwind is white stone and blue banners around a harbor. Orgrimmar is red earth, spikes and iron. Ironforge is carved into a mountain around a great forge, Thunder Bluff sits on high mesas, Undercity hides beneath ruins and Silvermoon glows gold. Dalaran, the floating city of the mages, has moved from continent to continent. A capital city design is a quieter alternative to a faction crest, and it suits the XL size, where the skyline stretches around the keyboard.
Hearthstone and the tavern
Warcraft's heroes also live on in Hearthstone, the card game released in 2014, with its warm tavern, wooden tables and the innkeeper's welcome. A tavern-style design, all lantern light, wood and stone, is the coziest Warcraft look there is. It suits a desk that leans toward warm light and evening play rather than raid-night intensity, and it fits players who have spent as many hours on cards as on raids.
Heroes and villains
Warcraft's big characters make strong single-figure designs. Arthas as the Lich King, in pale blue under his crown, suits a cold setup. Illidan, blindfolded with his warglaives and fel-green wings, belongs on a dark desk with green light. Thrall, Sylvanas, Jaina and Anduin each bring their faction's colors with them. A single figure works best at one end of a desk mat, where the keyboard won't cover it, or alone on a small pad.
Guild and raid setups
Some guilds coordinate more than their raid times. A shared crest, a matching faction design or the same expansion art across several members' desks makes for a good guild photo and a nice gift for a raid leader. If you are ordering for a group, pick one design and let each person choose the size that fits their desk.
Sizes for WoW desks
The product page of each design lists its sizes. These are the ones that suit World of Warcraft setups.
| Setup | Size | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Mouse only | S, 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) | A faction crest under an MMO mouse |
| Laptop desk | TCG Mat, 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) | A class emblem beside a laptop |
| Compact keyboard | M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm) | A banner strip in your faction's colors |
| Raid desk | XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm) | Keyboard, MMO mouse and a world map |
| A deep desk | XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm) | Room for wide camera sweeps |
| The whole desk | 4XL, 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) | Azeroth from coast to coast |
Not every desk is deep: the L, 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm), and the 3XL, 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), are made for long, narrow ones.
Gifts for an Azeroth regular
A WoW mouse pad suits someone who has played since 2004, someone who came back for Classic or someone who just hit max level for the first time. Ask which faction and class they play, or choose the crest of their side if you know nothing else. XL is the safest pick for an unknown desk, with space for a full keyboard and a mouse beside it.
Production takes 1–3 business days after you order; the pad then goes out from Turkey and generally arrives in the US 2–5 business days later.
After an energy drink spill
Raid desks see spills. Blot a fresh spill right away with a dry cloth, then a damp one, without rubbing it into the fabric. For everyday dust and the patch where your wrist rests, a damp cloth once a week is enough. When the whole pad needs it, hand wash it in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rinse it, press out the water with a towel and dry it flat. Keep it out of the washing machine and the dryer, and away from the iron.

FAQ
Questions about World of Warcraft Mouse Pads
Which WoW design matches my class?
Use your class color: purple for Warlocks, red for Death Knights, light blue for Mages, orange for Druids, yellow for Rogues, green for Hunters, pink for Paladins, and so on. A mat in that color reads instantly to other players.
What size WoW desk mat suits an MMO mouse?
XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), gives an MMO mouse room beside a full keyboard. If you drag the camera with wide arm movements, XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm), adds depth.
Which faction colors suit my desk?
Alliance blue and gold suits white or silver peripherals and cool light. Horde red and black suits a black keyboard and red RGB. A crest on a plain background works on either.
Is a WoW desk mat good for long raid nights?
Yes. The cushioned neoprene is comfortable under the wrist for hours, the fabric top keeps camera turns smooth, and the non-slip base stops the mat from creeping during a pull.
Which expansion palette suits a dark setup?
Legion's fel green on black, Cataclysm's molten orange or the Void purple of Midnight. Wrath of the Lich King's icy blue and Pandaria's jade suit lighter desks.
Are these official Blizzard products?
No. Blizzard hasn't made or licensed them. They are Padrift designs inspired by World of Warcraft, printed to order, and we have no affiliation with Blizzard Entertainment or Microsoft.
