About Travis Scott Rugs

From Houston to the world

Few artists have shaped music, sneakers and streetwear at the same time quite like Travis Scott. His dark, atmospheric sound, his record label named after a cactus and his earthy, brown-toned sneaker collaborations have made his world instantly recognizable to fans. A Travis Scott-inspired rug brings that style into a sneaker room or a bedroom: desert cacti in sand and chocolate brown, mocha and cream colorways, theme-park roller coasters glowing at night or a rodeo-inspired western design. To be clear from the start: these are independent designs inspired by the style, not official merchandise, and they don't use the artist's likeness or any brand's logos. Every rug is printed into soft velvet and goes in the washing machine.

The desert cactus is the most recognizable motif and suits a sneaker room, while the Houston skyline is a nod for hometown fans.

The artist

Travis Scott was born Jacques Bermon Webster II in Houston in 1991. He released his debut studio album, Rodeo, in 2015, followed by Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight in 2016. His third album, Astroworld, in 2018, was named after Six Flags AstroWorld, a Houston amusement park he loved as a kid that closed in 2005, and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Utopia followed in 2023 and also topped the chart. In 2017 he founded his own label, Cactus Jack Records.

The cactus

A cactus is the simplest way to nod to his world. A rug with tall saguaro cacti against a sandy desert, in tones of olive, sand and brown, is a subtle, stylish design that suits a sneaker room, a bedroom or a living room with warm wood. For more desert style, see our western rugs.

Mocha and cream

His sneaker collaborations made earthy browns, cream and black some of the most sought-after colorways of recent years. A rug in blocks of mocha, cream and black, with suede-like texture printed in, matches that palette without any logos, and it looks right at home among shelves of brown-toned sneakers. For more, see our sneaker rugs.

Theme-park nights

The Astroworld album turned a childhood amusement park into a whole world. A design of a roller coaster looping under carnival lights, a Ferris wheel glowing at dusk or a ride ticket blown up big captures that nostalgic, slightly surreal theme-park mood. It's a fun rug for a teen room or a game room.

Rodeo

His debut album's title points to Texas and the rodeo, and western motifs, stars, rope lettering and desert colors, fit naturally with his style. A rodeo-inspired rug in brown, cream and black pairs well with leather, denim and a cowhide-look throw. Our western rugs page has more.

Houston

For Houston fans, a rug with the city's skyline at dusk, or a design in the colors of a hometown sunset, is a proud nod to where the artist and so many others came from. A custom version can add your neighborhood's name or your area code.

Space and astro nights

In April 2020, his virtual concert inside the video game Fortnite drew more than 12 million players at once, with a giant version of the artist towering over a cosmic, shifting landscape. An astro-night rug, stars, planets and purple neon, captures that otherworldly feeling for a gaming setup or a home theater. For more, see our space rugs.

Sneaker rooms

A Travis Scott-inspired rug is a natural centerpiece for a sneaker room, especially one full of brown and earthy pairs. A 4×6 or 5×7 ft rug in the middle of the room ties the shelves together. Choose Premium, 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back, about 700 g/m², for the softest feel underfoot. For the whole range of streetwear styles, see our hypebeast and streetwear rugs.

Teen bedrooms

For a teen fan, a cactus or theme-park rug beside the bed is a stylish, recognizable piece that doesn't shout. Pair it with brown and cream bedding, a few framed album-inspired prints of your own and warm string lights. On a hard floor, choose Standard, 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back, about 500 g/m², so the rug stays put. Our bedroom rugs page has more layouts.

Studios

For producers and artists, a dark, atmospheric rug under the desk in a home studio sets the mood. Under a rolling chair, choose Standard, which stays put and lets the wheels roll. Our office and studio rugs page has more setups.

Gaming setups

Under a gaming desk, an astro-night or theme-park rug pairs well with purple and blue RGB lighting. A 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft rug in Standard suits most setups, with room for the chair to roll back.

Living rooms

For a grown-up living room, the mocha and cream palette is the easiest to live with: a large rug in soft brown blocks with a cactus or two, paired with a leather sofa, cream throws and plants. It nods to the style without turning the whole room into merch.

Cactus-shaped rugs

A rug cut to the outline of a tall saguaro, arms raised, is a playful, graphic piece beside a bed or in the corner of a sneaker room. In olive green on a sand background, or in all-over brown for a tonal look, it reads as desert cool rather than a souvenir. Our shaped rugs come in sizes from 2.6×2.6 up to 5.2×5.9 ft (80×80 to 160×180 cm).

Round rugs

A round rug with a roller coaster looping around its edge, a desert sun setting behind cacti or concentric rings of mocha, cream and black is a strong alternative to a rectangle in a seating area. Our round rugs come from 2.6 to 5.9 ft (80 to 180 cm) across.

Why brown works

Brown spent years out of fashion before earthy tones came roaring back in both sneakers and interiors. Today, chocolate, mocha and tan are treated as modern neutrals, warmer than grey and easier to live with than black. A brown-toned rug grounds a room, hides everyday wear well and pairs naturally with wood, leather, linen and plants.

Hallways

Down a hallway, a custom runner up to 10 ft long with a desert highway lined with cacti, or a long stretch of roller-coaster track, turns a narrow space into a road trip. Choose Standard, which stays put as people walk by.

Pairing with furniture

These designs look best with warm, tactile materials: a cognac leather chair, a cream boucle cushion, dark wood shelving for sneakers and a few large potted plants. Keep the walls light so the earthy rug and the shoes on display carry the color.

Colors

Travis Scott-inspired designs look best in earthy browns, mocha, cream, sail, olive and black, with purple and neon accents for the astro and theme-park looks. Mocha and cream is the most versatile and the most subtle of them all.

Gifts

A Travis Scott-inspired rug makes a great gift for a fan, a sneakerhead with a shelf of brown-toned pairs or a teen redoing their room. A cactus design is the safest and most stylish choice, and it suits almost any room.

Your own design

Want a cactus with your name, a mocha colorway matched to your favorite pair or a Houston skyline with your area code? Our custom rugs can print it in any size up to 5′11″ × 10′, or as a round rug. Please only send artwork you're allowed to use, which rules out the artist's photos, album covers and brand logos. Custom rugs are made just for you and can't be returned.

Sizes, shipping and returns

Rectangles come in 2×3, 2.6×3.9, 3.3×5, 4×6 and 5×7 ft, and round rugs from 2.6 to 5.9 ft (80 to 180 cm) across. Custom sizes go up to 5′11″ × 10′. Every rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey; US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that. Unused rugs can be returned within 30 days on US orders; custom rugs can't be returned.

Care

Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle and let it air dry flat. Vacuum on a low setting between washes, and blot spills with cold water right away. The design is printed into the fibers, so the browns stay rich, wash after wash.

A note on the artist

AstroWorld, the theme park

Travis Scott's 2018 album Astroworld took its name from a real place: Six Flags AstroWorld, a theme park in Houston that opened in 1968 next to the Astrodome and closed in 2005. For many Houston kids, its roller coasters, water rides and space-age signs were part of growing up, and its demolition became a symbol of a city changing around them.

The album recaptured that childhood thrill with themes of carnival rides, rollercoaster highs and summer nights. Its follow-up, Utopia, released in 2023, took a darker, more experimental direction.

That history inspires rugs with a retro, regional feel. A vintage theme-park sign with a starry rocket and neon lettering, invented for the rug rather than copied, suits a game room or a teen's bedroom. A roller coaster track twisting against a sunset sky is a dramatic design for a living room. A Houston skyline at night with a carnival glow behind it brings a sense of home for fans from the city.

Pair these designs with warm browns, deep blues and a touch of neon, a record player and a few framed photos of old Houston, and the room becomes a tribute to a lost park and the music it inspired.

Houston natives often share stories of riding AstroWorld's famous coasters, and a rug with a retro theme-park sign brings those memories into a living room or a studio. For younger fans who only know the album, it opens a window onto the city's history, a park that closed before they were born but lives on in the music. Pair it with warm mocha and cream tones, a vintage poster of the Astrodome era and a record player, and the room tells a story about growing up in Houston. It also makes a meaningful gift for anyone who has moved away from the city and misses home.
