About Genshin Impact Mouse Pads
Genshin Impact mouse pads for the desk
Padrift's Genshin Impact mouse pads and desk mats take their inspiration from HoYoverse's open world of Teyvat and print our own artwork in high resolution from one edge of a 3 mm neoprene pad to the other. The top is fabric, so the mouse glides evenly; the bottom is non-slip, so the pad stays put; and the stitched edge keeps the border from fraying. The range spans eight desk sizes, with an 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) mouse pad at the small end and a 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) desk mat at the large end, and the product page of each design lists the ones you can choose. A pad is printed when you order it, never before.
Genshin Impact, made by miHoYo in Shanghai, launched on September 28, 2020, on PC, PlayStation 4 and phones, and later arrived on PlayStation 5 and Xbox. You play a traveler from another world, searching Teyvat for a lost twin with a small floating companion named Paimon. Teyvat is divided into seven nations, each tied to one of seven elements and ruled by a god called an Archon, and the game has been opening them one region at a time ever since its launch.
Skill on E, burst on Q
On a computer, Genshin plays with both hands busy. WASD moves you around, the left mouse button swings your weapon or fires normal attacks, holding it charges a heavier attack, E casts the active character's elemental skill and Q unleashes their burst. The number keys from 1 to 4 swap between the four members of your party, often several times in a few seconds, and bow users can switch into an aiming view to line up charged shots.
All of that means the mouse is moving the camera, aiming and clicking at once, while the keyboard hand dances across a few keys. A fabric top keeps camera turns and aimed shots smooth, and a mat large enough for both hands, an XL or larger, keeps the keyboard from creeping away during a long fight against a world boss. The cushioned neoprene is also gentler on the wrists through an evening of domains.
Seven elements, seven lighting colors
The elements give Genshin a ready-made color system, and it maps neatly onto a lit desk. Anemo is a pale teal, Geo a warm gold, Electro a vivid violet, Dendro a fresh green, Hydro a clear blue, Pyro a flame red and Cryo an icy blue. Many players already have a favorite element, usually the one their main character uses.
That makes the simplest Genshin design choice a lighting choice. An Electro design suits purple RGB, a Pyro one suits red or orange, and a Hydro or Cryo design belongs with cool blue light. A mat that runs through all seven, like a band of color along the back edge, suits a keyboard that cycles through every shade.
Mondstadt and the snows of Dragonspine
Mondstadt, the city of freedom, is the first nation most players see: a walled city by a lake, windmills turning on the hills, green meadows and the Anemo Archon, Venti, playing his lyre. Its palette is light and open, pale teal sky, soft greens and stone, and it suits a white or light wooden desk in a bright room.
Above the meadows rises Dragonspine, a frozen mountain where the cold itself is a hazard. Its snow, ice and the deep red crystals that grow among the frozen ruins give Mondstadt a second, crisper palette, a natural match for a white setup with white peripherals and cool lighting.
Liyue's harbor and stone peaks
Liyue, the nation of contracts, is built around trade. Its harbor city glows with lanterns and red-and-gold rooftops, the Jade Chamber floats above it, and inland the stone pillars of Jueyun Karst tower over misty valleys where the adepti live. Its Archon, Rex Lapis, is the god of Geo, and the nation's colors follow him: gold, amber and warm stone.
A Liyue design suits a desk built from warm wood and lit by a warm lamp, and its mountain silhouettes stretch naturally across a long mat. For a darker take, the Chasm, the vast mine beneath Liyue's hills, swaps the gold sky for deep shadow lit by glowing crystals.
Inazuma's storms and Enkanomiya's dark
Inazuma, the nation of eternity, is an archipelago ruled by the Raiden Shogun, the Electro Archon. Its colors are violet thunder, cherry blossom pink and dark wood: the Sacred Sakura blooming at the Grand Narukami Shrine, storms crackling over the outer islands and lantern-lit towns. It is the obvious Genshin nation for a desk with purple lighting.
Below the sea lies Enkanomiya, a sunken realm where an artificial sun switches between day and endless night. Its blacks and deep blues, broken by pale stone and faint light, make one of the darkest palettes in the game, a quiet choice for an all-black setup.
Sumeru's forest and desert
Sumeru, the nation of wisdom, is two places in one. The east is a dense rainforest of giant mushrooms, vines and glowing plants, with Sumeru City built into an enormous tree and the scholars of the Akademiya studying in its halls. The west is a vast red-gold desert scattered with ruins of an ancient kingdom. The Dendro Archon, Nahida, watches over both.
The forest suits a desk with plants and green or teal lighting. The desert suits light wood and warm white light, and a mat that runs from jungle at one end to sand at the other carries both halves of the nation across the desk. As the nation of scholars, Sumeru also suits a study desk better than any other part of Teyvat.
Fontaine above and below the water
Fontaine, the nation of justice, is a city of grand courtrooms, opera houses, clockwork machines and canals, with a style that recalls Belle Époque France. Its region added underwater exploration, so much of Fontaine lies beneath the surface: coral, ruins and schools of fish in clear blue water. Its Hydro Archon, Furina, and the chief justice Neuvillette are at the heart of its story.
The palette, blues, whites and brass, suits a white desk or a setup with blue lighting. An underwater design is especially restful on a large mat, with light filtering down from the back edge and darker water near the front where your hands rest.
Natlan in fire
Natlan, the nation of war, arrived in 2024 with volcanic landscapes, tribes living among canyons and waterfalls, and the dinosaur-like Saurians that its people ride, glide on and climb with. The Pyro Archon, Mavuika, leads it. Its palette, lava orange, scorched black and bright tribal colors, is the warmest in Teyvat.
A Natlan design suits a black keyboard with orange or red lighting, and the bold patterns of the tribes hold up well when a keyboard covers part of them. Snezhnaya, the cold northern nation of the Cryo Archon and home of the Fatui, is the icy opposite.
Flowers of Teyvat for a small pad
Each nation has its own flowers, collected for ascending characters and scattered across the map, and they make lovely single motifs. Mondstadt has the windmill-shaped Windwheel Aster and the white Cecilia. Liyue has the Glaze Lily, the Silk Flower and the Qingxin that grows on mountaintops. Inazuma has the Sakura Bloom, Sumeru the Padisarah and Fontaine the Lumidouce Bell.
One flower on the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad, placed near the top edge, is a subtle nod that reads as a botanical print to anyone outside the game. A scatter of one nation's flowers across a long mat works the same way at desk scale, and it suits an office where a full character art piece would draw questions.
A character at the end of the mat
Genshin's cast numbers in the dozens and keeps growing, and most players have a main they have invested months in. A character design is strongest with the figure at the end of the mat opposite your mouse hand, where the keyboard won't cover a face, and their element's color carried along the rest of the surface.
Weapons give another way to choose. Every character fights with a sword, a claymore, a polearm, a bow or a catalyst, and a single weapon silhouette on a small pad is a quieter tribute to a favorite than a full portrait. The card game Genius Invokation, played inside Genshin since late 2022, gives every character a framed card portrait too, and a single card frame makes a tidy small design.
Elemental reactions as a pattern
Combat in Genshin is built on combining elements. Hydro and Pyro together trigger Vaporize, Pyro and Cryo trigger Melt, Electro and Hydro make Electro-Charged, Anemo spreads other elements in a Swirl, Geo forms shields through Crystallize, and Dendro brings Bloom and Quicken. Players who build teams around these reactions think about elements the way painters think about mixing colors.
A pattern of element symbols and the colors they make together is a design that rewards that kind of player. It works all over a long mat, survives a keyboard on top of it and looks like an abstract color study to anyone who doesn't know what a Swirl is.
A map of Teyvat
Teyvat's map is dotted with waypoints, Statues of the Seven, domains and the borders between nations, and every region looks different from the one beside it. A map design turns that into a desk mat you can actually read: the nation you started in, the ones you've explored and the ones still waiting.
Map art has fine detail, labels and coastlines, so it needs room. XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), is the minimum for it to stay legible around a keyboard, and XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm), lets the whole continent breathe above and below the keys.
Sizes for a Genshin desk
Which sizes a design is printed in depends on the art, and its product page has the list. These are the ones that suit Genshin art and setups.
| Setup | Size | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Mouse only | S, 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) | One flower, weapon or card frame |
| Laptop or phone corner | TCG Mat, 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) | A small nation landscape beside a laptop |
| Compact keyboard | M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm) | A band of all seven element colors |
| Keyboard and mouse | XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm) | A main character at one end, their element beyond |
| Deep desk | XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm) | The map of Teyvat with room to read it |
| The whole desk | 4XL, 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) | Sumeru's forest fading into its desert |
L, 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm), stretches a band of element colors a little further than M, and 3XL, 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), fits a wide landscape on a desk where XXL would hang over the edge.
Gifts for a traveler
A Genshin Impact mouse pad suits someone who has played since 2020, someone who just reached a new nation, or someone saving every Primogem for a favorite character. If you know their main or their element, build the gift around it; if not, a nation landscape or a flower pattern is easy to like. September 28, the game's anniversary, is a natural date, and the yearly anniversary events give you a reason to plan ahead.
Unsure of their desk size? The XL holds a full keyboard and a mouse on most desks, and an element color band suits almost any setup. We take 1–3 business days to print the pad; it then ships from Turkey and typically reaches US addresses 2–5 business days later.
Cleaning a bright Teyvat mat
Pale skies and snowy Dragonspine scenes show marks first, especially where the wrist rests. Wipe that area with a damp cloth when it starts to look gray. When it needs more than a wipe, fill a basin with lukewarm water and a few drops of mild soap, wash the pad by hand, rinse it, roll it up in a towel to press the water out and let it dry flat. Keep it out of the washing machine and the tumble dryer, and keep the iron away; the print is fade-resistant and stays bright with that care.

FAQ
Questions about Genshin Impact Mouse Pads
Which Genshin Impact design suits purple RGB?
Anything built on Electro: Inazuma's thunderstorms, the Raiden Shogun's violet or the Sacred Sakura under a stormy sky. Enkanomiya's dark blues also sit well under purple light.
What size suits playing Genshin on PC with a keyboard and mouse?
XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), or larger. Both hands are busy, with E, Q and the number keys under one and camera turns and aimed shots under the other, and a big mat keeps the keyboard from drifting.
Which Genshin nation suits a white desk?
Mondstadt's pale skies and meadows, or the snow of Dragonspine for a crisper look. Fontaine's blues, whites and brass also sit well on a white desk with cool lighting.
What fits on a small Genshin mouse pad?
One of Teyvat's flowers, such as a Windwheel Aster or a Glaze Lily, a single weapon silhouette or a framed character card. Set it near the top of the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad.
Is there a Genshin design that works at the office?
A scatter of one nation's flowers or a pattern of element symbols. Both read as a botanical print or a color study to coworkers, while other players will know exactly where they come from.
Is HoYoverse behind these Genshin Impact pads?
Unofficial is the honest word. HoYoverse created Teyvat and holds every name on this page, but Padrift makes its own designs inspired by the game and prints each pad after it is ordered, with no license from the company.
