About Among Us Mouse Pads
Among Us mouse pads for the desk
Among Us mouse pads and desk mats from Padrift carry our own artwork inspired by Innersloth's game of crewmates and impostors, printed edge to edge on 3 mm neoprene with a fabric top, a non-slip base and a stitched edge. The eight sizes reach from an 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad under one hand to a 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) mat under the whole setup, though not every design is offered in all eight, so check the product page of the one you like. We print every pad to order.
Innersloth, a three-person studio, released Among Us on phones in June 2018 and on Steam that November. It stayed small for two years, then exploded in 2020 as streamers picked it up and friends stuck at home looked for a game to play together. The idea is simple: a crew of four to fifteen players does chores on a spaceship or a base while one or more impostors among them sabotage the ship and pick people off, and everyone argues about who did it.
Flat shapes that print cleanly
A crewmate is one of the easiest characters in gaming to print well. It is a rounded bean with a small backpack, a pale blue visor and stubby legs, drawn in a flat color with a thick dark outline. There is no fine detail to lose and no gradient to band, so a crewmate looks the same on an 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad as on a 4XL, and it stays recognizable even when the keyboard covers half of it.
That simplicity also makes Among Us designs easy to place. A single crewmate at one end of a long mat, a crowd of them along the front edge or a big one peeking out from under the keyboard all read instantly from across the room.
The Skeld under your keyboard
The Skeld, the original map, is a spaceship seen from above, and it is wider than it is tall, which suits a desk mat. The Cafeteria with its emergency button sits at the top center, Navigation at the nose on the far right, and the Reactor and both engines on the far left, with Storage, Electrical, MedBay, Security and Admin in between.
On a right-handed desk, that layout lines up neatly: the keyboard covers the middle of the ship, the Reactor and engines stay visible at the left end, and your mouse hand works over Navigation and Shields. The map needs room for its corridors and room names to stay legible, so XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), is the smallest size worth choosing, and the deeper XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm), keeps the whole ship clear of the keyboard's shadow.
Card swipe and a steady glide
On PC, almost every task in Among Us is mouse work. In Admin you drag a key card through a reader, and if your swipe isn't smooth the game tells you it was too fast or too slow. In Electrical you drag colored wires across a panel to the matching sockets. In Weapons you click asteroids out of the sky, and in Reactor you click buttons from one to ten in order to unlock the manifolds.
The card swipe in particular has become a shared joke among players, because it punishes a jerky hand. A cloth surface helps: the fabric top gives the mouse an even, consistent glide, the non-slip base keeps the mat from shifting halfway through the swipe, and a large pad gives you room to drag in one smooth motion.
Pick a color that matches your setup
Crewmates come in eighteen colors, from the original red, blue, green, pink, orange, yellow, black, white, purple, brown, cyan and lime to the later maroon, rose, banana, gray, tan and coral. Your color in the game is a natural guide for the desk. A red crewmate suits red RGB and a black keyboard, cyan suits teal lighting, white suits a white setup, and pink or rose fits a pastel desk.
A design with every color lined up across a long mat suits a desk shared by siblings or a group of friends who each have their own.
An emergency meeting at your desk
The big red emergency button in the Cafeteria is the game's signature prop. Pressing it pulls everyone into a meeting to argue and vote. On a work desk, a pad with that button on it makes a dry joke about the calendar, especially for anyone who spends half the day in calls that could have been an email.
The button is also a strong shape for the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad: a bold red circle on the Cafeteria table, placed toward the top so your hand never covers it.
Ejected into space
When the crew votes someone off The Skeld, the screen shows them floating out of the airlock into a field of stars, with a single line of text telling you whether they were the impostor. That screen is pure contrast: a tiny figure, a black sky full of stars and a sentence in white. It suits a dark setup, and its long, horizontal layout fits the M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm), where the line of text can run the length of the mat.
Lights out
When an impostor sabotages the lights, the screen goes dark except for a small circle of vision around your crewmate. That idea makes a striking desk mat: a black field with a single pool of light where your mouse moves, and a hint of a shadowy figure at its edge. It works especially well on a black desk with a dim lamp, and it is the closest Among Us gets to suspense.
The other sabotages give red designs. A reactor meltdown or an oxygen failure floods the ship with flashing red alarms, a palette that pairs naturally with red lighting and a black keyboard.
Spot the impostor
A crowd design takes the game's central question and puts it on the desk: rows of crewmates in their colors, with one of them standing slightly differently, a little too close to a vent or holding something it shouldn't. On a long mat, that kind of pattern rewards a second look and gives visitors something to search for while you work. It also survives a keyboard, because a pattern of small figures still reads as a crowd wherever it is covered.
MIRA HQ, Polus, the Airship and the Fungle
The Skeld isn't the only map, and each of the others has its own palette.
- MIRA HQ: a bright headquarters floating high in the sky, with labs, a greenhouse and clean corridors. Light and airy, for a white desk.
- Polus: a research base on a cold planet, spread out across snow and rock. Cool and spacious, for a gray or blue setup.
- The Airship: a huge flying ship linked to Innersloth's earlier Henry Stickmin games, with grand rooms and long corridors. Warm and detailed, for a wooden desk.
- The Fungle: a jungle island full of giant mushrooms, added in 2023. Green and wild, for a desk with plants.
Ghosts with work to do
Getting killed doesn't end your round. A crewmate who dies comes back as a ghost that floats through walls and keeps doing tasks, so you can still help the crew win after a vote has gone wrong. Ghost designs are pale and see-through, drifting across a dark ship, and they make a quieter, slightly melancholy alternative to the bright crowd scenes. On a black mat, a single ghost hovering at the end of the keyboard is subtle enough that only another player will know what it means.
Hats, pets and a mini crewmate
Crewmates can wear hats, from a sprout of leaves to a top hat, and some are followed by pets, including a tiny crewmate that trots along behind. Those small figures suit the corners of a pad. A mini crewmate tucked into the lower left of a mat, where the keyboard ends, is a detail you notice every time you look down, and it is gentle enough for a shared or office desk.
PC, phone or tablet
Among Us supports cross-play, so one lobby can mix PC players at a desk with friends on phones, tablets and consoles. That often means a desk with more than one device: a keyboard and mouse for the game, a phone propped up for the voice chat, maybe a tablet for a second round. An XL leaves space for a phone stand or a tablet at one end, and the soft fabric top keeps screens from scratching when you set them down.
Bright colors for younger players
The game's bright, simple look also suits a younger player's desk, where a pad has to put up with homework, drawing and spilled drinks as well as games. A crewmate design keeps the mood friendly, and the dark outlines hide small marks better than a plain pastel would. A stitched edge also stands up well to a pad that is rolled up and carried to a friend's house.
Sizes for an Among Us desk
Look at the product page to see the sizes a design comes in. These are the ones that suit Among Us art.
| Setup | Size | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Mouse only | S, 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) | The emergency button or one crewmate |
| Laptop desk | TCG Mat, 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) | A crewmate and a vent beside a laptop |
| Compact keyboard | M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm) | The ejection screen and its line of text |
| Keyboard and mouse | XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm) | The Skeld from Reactor to Navigation |
| A deep desk | XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm) | A crowd of crewmates in all eighteen colors |
| The whole desk | 4XL, 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) | A full map with every room labeled |
L, 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm), lets a line of crewmates stretch a little further than M, and 3XL, 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), shows more of a map on a desk too shallow for XXL.
Gifts for a crewmate
An Among Us mouse pad suits someone who played every night in 2020, someone who still hosts lobbies for friends, or a younger player who has just discovered the game. If you know their favorite color, choose a crewmate in it; if you don't, a rainbow line of crewmates covers everyone. A birthday party or a group gift for friends who play together are both good occasions.
Can't check the desk? An XL is the dependable size, roomy enough for a keyboard and a mouse on almost any desk. We need 1–3 business days to print the pad, and once it ships from Turkey, a US delivery tends to take another 2–5 business days.
Cleaning after game night
Bright designs with white or yellow areas show crumbs and marks around the mouse first. Wipe them away with a damp cloth as you notice them. For a deeper clean, hand wash the pad in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rinse it, press out the water with a towel and leave it to dry flat. Machine washing, tumble drying and ironing will all damage it, so skip them.

FAQ
Questions about Among Us Mouse Pads
Does a mouse pad help with the card swipe task?
It helps. The swipe fails if your drag is too fast, too slow or jerky, and a fabric top gives a smooth, even glide. The non-slip base keeps the mat from moving halfway through the motion.
Which crewmate color should match my RGB?
Pick the crewmate whose color matches your lighting: red with red RGB, cyan with teal, purple with violet, white with a white setup. A rainbow line of crewmates suits rotating RGB.
How should The Skeld map sit on a desk mat?
With the Reactor on the left, Navigation on the right and the Cafeteria at the top. The keyboard then covers the middle of the ship, and your mouse hand works over Navigation and Shields.
What fits on a small Among Us pad?
One crewmate, the emergency button or a mini crewmate pet. Put it toward the top of the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad, where your hand won't cover it.
Is an Among Us pad sturdy enough for a child's desk?
Yes. The stitched edges resist fraying, the base stays put, and dark outlines hide small marks. Spills wipe off with a damp cloth, and a gentle hand wash handles the rest.
Did Innersloth make these Among Us pads?
Innersloth had no part in them. Padrift, an independent studio, draws its own crewmate designs and prints each pad when it is ordered, without a license or any endorsement.
