About Spider-Man Rugs

A rug for your friendly neighborhood hero

Whether you search for a Spiderman rug, a Spider-Man carpet or simply something red, blue and covered in webs, the idea is the same: a floor that looks like it belongs to the hero from Queens. Our Spider-Man rugs are inspired by every side of the character, from the classic web lines of the original suit to Miles Morales in black and red, the bold comic-book style of the Spider-Verse films, the black symbiote suit and the New York skyline he swings across every night. Each design is printed into soft velvet, so the reds come out strong and the black web lines stay sharp, and every rug can go in the washing machine.

From one comic to the whole multiverse

Spider-Man was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15, cover-dated August 1962. Peter Parker was something new for a superhero: a teenager from Queens who worried about homework, rent and his Aunt May as much as about villains, and readers saw themselves in him. Six decades later, he has been played on screen by Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland, whose fourth solo film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, reached theaters in summer 2026. The animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, and Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man games on PlayStation brought him to a new generation of players. Few heroes have as many looks, which is why a Spider-Man area rug can suit a toddler's room, a teenager's gaming setup or a grown-up's den.

The web on a round rug

A spider's web is built outward from a center point, and so is a round rug, which makes the web the most natural Spider-Man design we print. Black radial lines and rings on a red background read clearly from across a room and look graphic rather than busy. A 3.9 ft (120 cm) round web rug sits nicely beside a bed; a 5.2 or 5.9 ft (160 or 180 cm) one becomes the middle of a playroom, where kids can stand in the center and pretend to wait for a fly. On a rectangle, the web works as an all-over pattern that still looks good when a bed or a desk covers part of it. If what you want is a spooky, cobwebbed design for October rather than a superhero one, our Halloween rugs have spider webs of the haunted-house kind.

Miles Morales

Miles Morales was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli and became Spider-Man in 2011. A Brooklyn teenager with a love of music and street art, he wears a black suit with red web lines, and since Into the Spider-Verse, he has been as popular with younger fans as Peter Parker himself. A Miles Morales rug in black and red is a little darker and more modern than the classic suit, so it hides scuffs well on a busy floor and pairs easily with gray or black furniture in a teenager's room. Many families with two Spider-Man fans end up choosing one Peter design and one Miles design.

The Spider-Verse look

The Spider-Verse films treat every universe like its own art style. Gwen Stacy's world is drawn in soft watercolor washes that shift with her mood, Spider-Punk looks like a photocopied zine cut out and taped together, and Spider-Man 2099 lives in a futuristic city of neon light. Rugs inspired by that approach make the most artistic Spider-Man designs: halftone dots, spray-paint drips, misprinted color edges and bold lettering. They look as much like a piece of graphic art as merchandise, so they suit a creative teenager, a design studio or anyone who left the cinema wanting to draw.

The black suit and Venom

In 1984, Spider-Man came back from the Secret Wars with a new black suit that turned out to be alive. The symbiote later bonded with Eddie Brock, and Venom made his first full appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #300 in 1988. A black-suit design, a white spider on glossy black, is the sleekest, most minimal Spider-Man rug and suits a teen room or a dark game room. A Venom-inspired rug goes bolder, with dripping black shapes and a jagged grin, and it is a better fit for an older fan than for a toddler's bedroom.

New York at night

Spider-Man is a New York hero more than any other, and the city is half of his look: Queens rooftops, wooden water towers, the Daily Bugle's offices and Manhattan's towers lit up after dark. A skyline rug with a small silhouette swinging between buildings is the most grown-up way to show you're a fan, quiet enough for a living room or a home theater. In a 5×7 ft size, it anchors a seating area; in 4×6 ft, it fits a reading corner or the floor in front of a bunk bed.

Spider-Man bedroom ideas

Most Spider-Man room decor starts with bedding and a poster, and a rug pulls it together because it covers the biggest surface in the room. A few combinations that work well:

  • A red web round rug beside a bed with blue sheets, so the two colors of the suit split across the room.
  • A Miles Morales rug in black and red with gray walls and red accents for a teenager who wants something less childish.
  • A skyline rug under the bed, with only the city visible around the edges, for a calmer room that still tells a story.
  • A comic-panel design in the play area and plain bedding, when the walls are already full of posters.

For a twin bed, a 3.3×5 ft rug runs nicely along the side; for the middle of a small bedroom, 4×6 ft is usually enough.

For the youngest web-slingers

Preschoolers often meet Spider-Man through Spidey and His Amazing Friends, the Disney Junior series that started in 2021, where Peter, Miles and Gwen team up as Spidey, Spin and Ghost-Spider. For that age, bright, simple shapes and friendly colors work better than dark villains. Choose Standard, 5 mm crushed velvet on a non-slip faux leather back, about 500 g/m², for a nursery or toddler room with hard floors, because it stays in place under running feet. When juice or crayon ends up on it, it goes straight into the washing machine.

Teen rooms and gaming setups

Players who swung through Insomniac's games, from the 2018 original to Miles Morales and Marvel's Spider-Man 2, often want a rug that matches the screen. Under a gaming chair, Standard in 3.3×5 or 4×6 ft holds its place on hard floors and lets chair wheels roll. A suit-texture design or the black suit looks sharp in a dark setup lit by LED strips, and a skyline rug suits a console corner by the TV. Our gaming rugs and desk chair rugs pages have more setup ideas.

Gifts and birthdays

A Spider-Man rug is an easy gift for a birthday party with a superhero theme, a child moving into a big-kid bed, or an adult who still has the comics in a box. The web design is the safest choice if you aren't sure which Spider-Man they love most. Miles Morales is the favorite of many kids who grew up with the animated films, and a New York skyline suits the grown-up fan. Order a few business days ahead of the date: every rug is printed to order.

Shaped and round options

Round rugs come from 2.6 to 5.9 ft (80 to 180 cm) across, which covers everything from a small rug by the bed to the centerpiece of a playroom. Shaped rugs can be cut to the outline of a design, such as a mask silhouette or a spider emblem, in sizes from about 2.6×2.6 ft (80×80 cm) up to 5.2×5.9 ft (160×180 cm). A cut shape makes a fun accent on a wooden floor, while a rectangle covers more ground.

Your own design

Want your child's name in comic lettering over a web, or a drawing of their own superhero printed as a rug? Our custom rugs print any design in any size up to 5′11″ × 10′, including long runners for a hallway. Please only send artwork you're allowed to use; your own names, photos and drawings are always fine. Custom rugs can't be returned, so check the spelling of names before you order.

Standard or Premium

Standard is the practical choice for kids' rooms, playrooms and under desk chairs, because its non-slip back grips hard floors. Premium is 7 mm plush velvet on a bamboo and cotton back, about 700 g/m², softer and warmer underfoot, and the better pick beside a bed or in a home theater where people sit on the floor. Both take the same print, so the red of a web design and the deep black of Miles's suit look the same on either.

Sizes, shipping and returns

Rectangles come in 2×3, 2.6×3.9, 3.3×5, 4×6 and 5×7 ft. Custom sizes go up to 5′11″ × 10′. Every Spider-Man rug is printed to order in 1–3 business days and ships from Turkey, and US delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after that. Unused rugs can be returned within 30 days on US orders; custom rugs can't be returned.

Care

Wash on a gentle, cold cycle and let the rug air dry flat; don't put it in the dryer. Vacuum on a low setting between washes. Our rugs are made for dry indoor floors, so a Spider-Man rug belongs in a bedroom, a playroom or a living room rather than in front of the shower, where velvet would stay damp too long.

A note on the character

FAQ

Questions about Spider-Man Rugs

Which Spiderman rug works best in a young child's bedroom?

A red web design on a 3.9 ft (120 cm) round rug or a bright preschool-style design, in Standard so the non-slip back holds on hard floors. Both can go in the washing machine after spills.

Do you have Miles Morales rugs?

Yes. Black with red web lines and a red spider, plus Spider-Verse comic designs with halftone dots and graffiti color. They suit teen rooms and gaming setups.

Why does the web design suit a round rug so well?

A web grows outward from one center point, just like a round rug, so the lines meet in the middle and the rings follow the edge. We print it from 2.6 to 5.9 ft (80 to 180 cm) across.

Is there a Venom or black-suit Spider-Man rug?

Yes. The black suit is a white spider on glossy black, sleek enough for a teen room. Venom-inspired designs are bolder, with dripping shapes and a jagged grin, better for older fans.

What size Spider-Man carpet fits beside a twin bed?

A 3.3×5 ft rectangle runs well along the side of a twin bed. For the middle of a small bedroom, 4×6 ft is usually enough; a 3.9 ft (120 cm) round web rug also fits beside the bed.

Can I use a Spider-Man rug as a bath mat?

We don't recommend it. Velvet holds water and dries slowly, so these rugs are made for dry floors in bedrooms, playrooms and living rooms, not for the floor in front of a shower.

Can you put my child's name on a Spider-Man rug?

Yes. A custom rug can set a name in comic lettering over a web or any design you're allowed to use, in any size up to 5′11″ × 10′. Custom rugs can't be returned, so check the spelling.

Are these official Marvel or Sony Spider-Man products?

No. Padrift is an independent studio. Our designs are inspired by Spider-Man, and we are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Marvel, Disney or Sony Pictures.
