About Black Clover Mouse Pads

Black Clover mouse pads for the desk

Our Black Clover mouse pads and desk mats carry Padrift artwork inspired by Yūki Tabata's fantasy of grimoires, Magic Knights and a kingdom obsessed with magic. Every pad is 3 mm neoprene with a fabric top, a non-slip base and stitched edges, printed edge to edge in high resolution with colors that resist fading. Sizes go from a compact 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) mouse pad to a 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) mat that covers most of a desk, eight in all, and each one is printed after the order is placed.

Black Clover began in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2015. Studio Pierrot's anime ran for 170 episodes between 2017 and 2021, and the film Sword of the Wizard King followed on Netflix in 2023. It is a loud, bright, big-hearted series, and that energy carries over well to a gaming desk.

A kingdom ranked by magic

In the Clover Kingdom, magic decides almost everything: your job, your rank, even where you are allowed to live. Royals and nobles keep to the capital, commoners live in the realm around it, and the poorest villages sit out in the Forsaken Realm at the kingdom's edge. Two orphans from one of those villages grow up dreaming of the highest title in the land, Wizard King. Yuno is a prodigy; Asta, famously, has no magic at all.

That underdog setup is the engine of the series, and it gives Black Clover designs a particular mood: hard work, rivalry and a stubborn refusal to stay in your place. It suits a desk where you grind, whether that means ranked matches, a semester of exams or a long project.

Grimoires on the desk

At fifteen, everyone in the kingdom visits the Grimoire Tower to receive a grimoire, a spellbook that grows with its owner and marks them for life. Most covers show a three-leaf clover; a four-leaf one is rare and treated as a sign of greatness. The books are drawn as heavy, ornate objects with clasps, worn corners and glowing pages, which makes them a natural motif for a desk, the place where books usually end up anyway.

A single grimoire, open and glowing, suits the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad, with the book toward the top so your hand rests on the empty space below. On a longer mat, a row of grimoires floating along the back edge gives a clean, symmetrical layout that leaves the middle free for the keyboard.

Nine squads, nine color schemes

The Magic Knights are split into nine squads, and almost every squad name pairs a color with an animal or a flower. That makes choosing by color easy.

  • Black Bulls: black robes and a horned bull, the obvious match for an all-black setup.
  • Golden Dawn: gold, white and sunlight, for a white desk with warm lighting.
  • Crimson Lion Kings: red and fire, for a desk with red accents or red RGB.
  • Silver Eagles: silver and cool gray, for aluminum peripherals and a gray desk.
  • Blue Rose: deep blue and thorns, for a cool, dark setup.
  • Green Mantis: sharp greens, a match for a desk with plants.
  • Coral Peacocks: coral pink and teal, softer and brighter than the rest.
  • Aqua Deer: aqua and pale blue, for a light desk near a window.
  • Purple Orcas: purple and black, for purple lighting.

If you or the person you are buying for already has a favorite squad, the colors on the desk can follow it.

The Black Bulls at home

The Black Bulls are the squad nobody else wants: loud, reckless, always fighting and somehow always there when it counts. Their hideout is a creaking castle whose rooms rearrange themselves, thanks to Henry Legolant's magic, and life inside is chaos. Charmy eats everything in sight, Vanessa drinks, Magna and Luck pick fights, Finral flirts, Gauche talks about his sister, and Gordon quietly hopes someone will be his friend.

A group design with the whole squad needs width, so it belongs on XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), or larger. The trick is to place the figures along the top half and at the ends, so the keyboard covers the floor rather than a face. A busy group scene also hides wear well, which is handy on a desk that sees heavy use.

Yami Sukehiro's darkness

The Black Bulls' captain, Yami Sukehiro, came to the Clover Kingdom from the Land of the Sun, an island country with a Japanese flavor. He carries a katana, smokes, scowls and uses Dark Magic, cutting through spells with a blade wrapped in shadow. His habit of telling his squad to push past their limits right here and now sums up the whole series.

Yami's look is almost monochrome: black hair, black robe, dark blade, with a cigarette as the only point of warmth. A Yami design suits a black desk with white or dim warm lighting, and it is a strong choice for someone who prefers a grown-up, cool-headed figure to the series' younger heroes.

Magic as a palette

Every mage in Black Clover has one attribute, and each attribute comes with its own colors. That turns spells into palettes.

  • Water: Noelle Silva, the royal with silver hair and a water dragon, in blues and silver for a cool desk.
  • Wind: Yuno and his wind spirit, in fresh greens and white.
  • Lightning: the grinning Luck Voltia, in electric yellow on dark, for a gaming setup.
  • Fire: Magna Swing and the Crimson Lions, in orange and red, for warm lighting.
  • Space: Finral's portals, in swirling purple, for purple RGB.
  • Thread: Vanessa's red threads, a thin, elegant accent on a black ground.

A spell effect without a character is also an easy way to bring the series to a desk subtly. A swirl of wind or a ripple of water reads as abstract art until someone recognizes it.

Yuno and the Golden Dawn

Yuno is the quiet half of the rivalry: black hair, calm eyes and the four-leaf grimoire everyone envies. He joins the Golden Dawn, the kingdom's elite squad, under Captain William Vangeance, and fights with wind magic alongside a small wind spirit, Bell, who rarely leaves his side. His designs are lighter and cooler than the Black Bulls' art, with greens, golds and open sky, and they sit well on a white or light gray desk.

A Golden Dawn design pairs nicely with a Black Bulls one if two people share a room: gold on one desk, black on the other, and the rivalry carries on in the furniture.

Brooms over the kingdom

Most mages in Black Clover travel by broom, crossing the kingdom low over fields and forests, and the sky shots of the series are some of its calmest images. Those scenes are wide by nature, a small figure on a broom against clouds and countryside, so they suit a long mat. Put the flyer near one end and the open sky stretches away beside the keyboard. A broom scene is a good pick for someone who likes the world of the series more than its fights.

A map of the kingdom

The Clover Kingdom borders three rivals, the Diamond, Spade and Heart Kingdoms, and the story moves between them as the threats grow. A map design, with the capital, the realms and the borders marked out, suits a big desk mat and a fan who enjoys the world-building. Maps are full of detail, so choose XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm), where the space behind the keyboard keeps the capital and the borders visible.

The Wizard King

Julius Novachrono, the Wizard King at the start of the story, is the series' great enthusiast: a time mage who loves magic so much that he disguises himself to go and look at new spells. The title he holds is the goal behind almost everything in Black Clover, and the Wizard King's robe and crest make a regal design, white and gold with a clean, formal feel. Clock faces and frozen moments, a nod to his time magic, make a quieter option for a work desk.

Devils and the Spade Kingdom

Later arcs turn darker. Devils from the underworld push into the human world through hosts, and the Spade Kingdom falls under the Dark Triad, a ruling family of devil hosts. The art follows the story, with deep reds, black horns, shadowy wings and glowing eyes. Those designs belong on a gaming desk, especially one lit in red or purple, and they suit a fan who has followed the story well past the early tournament arcs.

Emblems for small pads

When a desk only has room for the mouse, a symbol works better than a scene. Black Clover has plenty: the Black Bulls' horned bull, a squad crest, a single clover with three, four or five leaves, or a closed grimoire with its clasp shut. On the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad, place the emblem in the upper half so your palm doesn't sit on it. A small emblem is also a calm way to show your squad on a shared or work desk.

A mat for the grind

Black Clover is a series about practice: swinging a sword until your arms give out, failing a test and trying again the next day. A desk mat fits that kind of routine. The fabric top gives your mouse an even, controlled glide for long ranked sessions, the non-slip base keeps the mat still through quick flicks, and the stitched edges stop fraying where your wrist drags across it. The cushioned neoprene is also kinder to your forearms than a bare desk during a long evening of play or study.

Sizes for Black Clover setups

Not every design comes in every size, so check the product page of the one you like. For Black Clover art, these work well.

Two more sizes are worth a look when the desk is wide and shallow: L, 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm), and 3XL, 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), both long enough for a keyboard with mouse room to spare.

Gifts for a Magic Knight

A Black Clover pad suits someone who will tell you the Black Bulls are the heart of the whole series, someone who just reached the Spade Kingdom arc or a younger fan who loves the shouting and the swords. Ask which squad they would join, then choose its colors. When you can't measure their desk, XL is the dependable choice, as it fits a full keyboard and a mouse on almost every surface.

Your pad goes into production when you order, takes 1–3 business days to make and then travels from Turkey, usually reaching a US address in 2–5 business days. Ordering about two weeks before the date keeps a birthday gift on schedule.

Caring for a busy design

Bright group scenes and squad colors hide crumbs better than plain black, but they still pick up skin oil where the wrist rests. Wipe the pad with a damp cloth once a week. For a full clean, wash it by hand in lukewarm water with a small amount of mild soap, rinse until the water runs clear, press out what you can with a towel and let it dry lying flat. Keep it away from the washing machine, the dryer and the iron so the stitched edges and the print stay in shape.

A note on names

Black Clover and the names of its characters, squads and places are used here to describe the inspiration behind our designs. Padrift is not connected with, sponsored by or endorsed by Yūki Tabata, Shueisha or Studio Pierrot.

FAQ

Questions about Black Clover Mouse Pads

Which Black Clover squad colors suit a black desk?

The Black Bulls, naturally, with their black robes and horned bull. Purple Orcas and Blue Rose designs also sit well on a dark setup, especially with purple or blue lighting.

Where is the Asta mouse pad page?

Asta has his own page under Black Clover, covering his swords, his anti-magic and his devil form. This page covers the rest of the series: squads, grimoires, Yuno, Yami and the kingdom.

Is there a Black Clover design for a white desk?

Yes. Golden Dawn designs in gold and white, Yuno's wind in greens and white, or the Wizard King's robe and crest all sit comfortably on a white or light gray desk.

What size suits a Black Clover group scene?

XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), or larger. A whole squad needs width, and a layout with the figures along the top and at the ends keeps faces out from under the keyboard.

Can I get a Black Clover pad without characters on it?

Look for spell effects, grimoires or emblems: a swirl of wind, a ripple of water, a closed spellbook or a squad crest. They read as clean designs on a work or shared desk.

Are Black Clover pads from Padrift official?

Not at all. We are an independent studio, and our Black Clover designs are fan-inspired artwork printed to order. Yūki Tabata, Shueisha and Studio Pierrot have not licensed, approved or produced them.
