About Fairy Tail Mouse Pads
Fairy Tail mouse pads for the desk
These are Padrift's Fairy Tail mouse pads and desk mats: original art inspired by Hiro Mashima's story of a rowdy wizards' guild, printed edge to edge on 3 mm neoprene with a fabric top, a non-slip base and stitched edges. You can choose a small 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad for the mouse, a 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) mat for the whole desk or one of six sizes in between, and each is printed after the order is placed.
Fairy Tail ran in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2006 to 2017, and its anime, which began in 2009, passed three hundred episodes before it ended. A sequel, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, continues the guild's story with Mashima writing and Atsuo Ueda drawing.
A loud series for a bright desk
Some anime suit a muted setup. Fairy Tail is the opposite: its art is all saturated color, glowing spells and big expressions, and its heroes solve most problems by shouting and setting something on fire. That makes it one of the easiest series to pair with RGB. A desk that already glows, with a backlit keyboard, a light strip and a colorful mouse, can carry a Fairy Tail mat without the art looking washed out.
The guild also gives you choice. Fairy Tail has a large cast, and almost every main character is tied to one kind of magic and one strong color. Choosing a design often comes down to a simple question: which color is your desk already lit in?
Magic types as desk palettes
Each kind of magic has its own color, so here is a quick guide to matching one to your lighting.
- Fire Dragon Slayer magic (Natsu): red, orange and gold, for warm RGB, a walnut desk or an all-black setup that wants heat.
- Ice-Make (Gray): pale blue and white, for cool white or blue lighting and white peripherals.
- Celestial Spirit magic (Lucy): gold on deep navy, for a dark desk with warm white light.
- Requip (Erza): scarlet hair and polished steel, for a black desk with silver accents.
- Sky Dragon Slayer magic (Wendy): soft blues, pinks and white, for a pastel setup.
- Iron Dragon Slayer magic (Gajeel): gunmetal gray and black, for a monochrome desk.
- Lightning magic (Laxus): electric yellow on dark storm clouds, for yellow or white RGB.
- Water magic (Juvia): deep blue and rain, for a desk lit in cyan or blue.
Natsu and the fire dragon
Natsu Dragneel was raised by Igneel, a fire dragon who taught him Dragon Slayer magic and then vanished. Natsu can eat flames, breathe them and wrap his fists in them, and he wears a white scarf with a scale pattern that Igneel gave him. His catchphrase, roughly "I'm all fired up," sums him up well.
Fire is the obvious Fairy Tail palette for a gaming desk. A Natsu design with flames rising from one end works well on an XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), with the hottest part of the art at the far end from the mouse and the flames cooling toward your hand. Under orange or red RGB the whole mat seems to glow. A white-scarf pattern on its own is the quieter version, recognizable to fans and neutral to everyone else.
Gray and the cold side
Gray Fullbuster is Natsu's rival and friend, an Ice-Make wizard who shapes ice into weapons, walls and bridges, and who has a running habit of losing his shirt without noticing. Where Natsu is all heat and noise, Gray is cool, and his designs are drawn in pale blues, frost white and the sharp edges of ice.
Ice art suits a white desk under cool light. Glassy shards along the top edge of a long mat look clean above a white keyboard, and pale blue backgrounds hide very little dirt but look fresh in daylight. If your desk is shared between a fire fan and an ice fan, two separate pads may keep the peace better than one split mat.
Erza's armory
Erza Scarlet, known as Titania, fights with Requip magic, summoning weapons and changing armor in an instant. Her collection is enormous: the Heaven's Wheel armor with its circle of floating swords, the Black Wing armor, the Flame Empress and Sea Empress armors and many more, each with its own color and shape. Outside battle she is strict, terrifying to her guildmates and very fond of strawberry cake.
All those armors make Erza a natural fit for a wide layout. A line of armors across an XL or 3XL, 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), reads like a display case running behind the keyboard, and the steel and scarlet look sharp on a black desk with silver peripherals. On a small pad, Erza's red hair and a single sword are enough.
Lucy and her keys
Lucy Heartfilia is a Celestial Spirit wizard who summons spirits through gate keys: silver keys for minor spirits and rare golden keys for the twelve zodiac spirits, among them Aquarius, Taurus, Cancer, Virgo and Loke, who is really Leo. In her quiet hours she writes a novel, and her love of books runs through the whole series.
That makes Lucy the Fairy Tail character for a writing or study desk. A row of golden keys along the top edge of a long mat, on deep navy, looks elegant above a keyboard, and the dark ground stays calm on a video call. On the small pad, a single golden key or Plue, the little white spirit who mostly shivers and says "puun," fits perfectly.
Happy and the Exceeds
Happy is Natsu's partner, a small blue cat who sprouts white wings, flies, eats fish whenever possible and answers almost everything with "Aye, sir!" He belongs to the Exceeds, a race of winged cats, along with Carla, Wendy's prim white partner, and Pantherlily, the black cat who partners Gajeel.
Happy is the simplest Fairy Tail figure to put under a mouse: one round blue shape with a white belly and two wings, readable at a glance in the upper part of the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad. A line of three Exceeds suits a long, shallow mat, and the blue, white and black cats look good together on almost any desk color.
Wendy and the gentle palette
Wendy Marvell is the guild's youngest Dragon Slayer, raised by the sky dragon Grandeeney. Her magic heals as well as attacks, and her designs are drawn in soft sky blues, pinks and white, often with wind curling around her. With Carla at her side, she is the Fairy Tail pick for a pastel desk or a younger fan's setup.
Dragon Slayers in a row
Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy and Laxus are only part of the story's Dragon Slayers. The rival guild Sabertooth adds Sting, a White Dragon Slayer, and Rogue, a Shadow Dragon Slayer, and much of the later plot turns on the dragons themselves, from Igneel to Acnologia, the black dragon. The dragons give Fairy Tail its largest, most dramatic images.
A dragon design needs width more than anything. A wingspan stretched across a 4XL, 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm), or a 3XL fills the space behind a keyboard and monitor stand, and a black dragon on a dark storm sky is the moodiest Fairy Tail mat for a gaming desk. A row of Dragon Slayers, each lit in their own color, works as a full-width team shot.
Gajeel and Laxus for monochrome desks
Gajeel Redfox eats iron, turns his limbs into steel weapons and occasionally performs a terrible song for the guild. Laxus Dreyar, the guild master's grandson, fights with lightning and spends part of the story as the guild's most dangerous rival from within. Both are drawn in harder, darker tones than most of the cast.
Gajeel's gunmetal gray suits an all-black desk with metal accents, and Laxus's yellow lightning on dark clouds is one of the few designs that looks good under yellow or warm white RGB. Either one is a good choice if you want Fairy Tail without pink, pastel blue or bright orange.
Tournaments and ranked nights
The Grand Magic Games arc turns the story into a tournament, with guilds competing in public events for the title of top guild in the kingdom of Fiore. It has the energy of a competitive gaming night: teams, rivals, points and dramatic comebacks. A design built around that arc, guild members side by side in their tournament stances, suits a desk where ranked matches happen, and its bright mix of colors works with multicolor RGB.
Guild life on a gaming desk
Under the mouse, a Fairy Tail pad behaves like any other pad we make. The woven fabric top glides evenly through quick flicks and slow, careful aim alike, the 3 mm neoprene cushions your wrist through long sessions, and the stitched border keeps the fabric from fraying where your forearm rests. Bright, busy art also hides small marks well, which helps on a desk that sees a lot of snacks.
Sizes for a Fairy Tail desk
Sizes differ by design, and every product page lists the options for that one. These setups and pairings suit Fairy Tail art.
| Setup | Size | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Mouse only | S, 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) | Happy, Plue or a single golden key |
| Laptop desk | TCG Mat, 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) | Lucy with her keys beside a laptop |
| Compact keyboard | M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm) | Three Exceeds in a row |
| Keyboard and mouse | XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm) | Natsu's flames rising from one end |
| Deep desk | XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm) | The Grand Magic Games team shot |
| The whole desk | 4XL, 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) | A dragon's full wingspan |
Long, shallow desks have two more options: the L, 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm), which lengthens a row of golden keys, and the 3XL, 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), which lines up Erza's armors like a display case.
Gifts for a guild member
A Fairy Tail pad suits someone who watched all three hundred-plus episodes, someone who still says "Aye, sir!" or a friend who still argues about who would win between Natsu and Gray. Choose by character: Natsu for loud, Gray for cool, Erza for fierce, Lucy for bookish, Happy for anyone who just wants something cute. If you don't know the desk, an XL suits almost any keyboard and mouse. Unlike Natsu, the pad travels well: it rolls into a tube for the ride to a friend's place and settles flat again a few hours after you unroll it.
Your pad is printed and its edges stitched within 1–3 business days of the order, then it leaves Turkey; US deliveries usually take a further 2–5 business days.
Keeping bright colors bright
Saturated reds, blues and golds hold up well, but light areas such as Happy's white belly or Gray's frost show wear first. Run a damp cloth over those spots every week and they stay bright. For a deeper wash, let the pad soak briefly in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rub the surface gently by hand, rinse it clean, then roll it in a towel to squeeze the water out and lay it flat until it's dry. Machine washing, tumble drying and ironing are all out.

FAQ
Questions about Fairy Tail Mouse Pads
Which Fairy Tail magic matches my RGB color?
Red or orange light suits Natsu's fire, blue or cool white suits Gray's ice, yellow suits Laxus's lightning and warm white brings out the gold of Lucy's keys. Pick the wizard whose color your desk already glows in.
Can I roll up a Fairy Tail pad and take it to a friend's place?
Yes. Roll it with the printed side out, carry it in a bag or tube and unroll it when you arrive; it lies flat again within a few hours. Unlike Natsu, it doesn't mind the trip.
What size shows Erza's armors side by side?
The 3XL, 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), or an XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm). A line of armors along the back edge reads like a display case behind the keyboard.
Is there a Fairy Tail design for a writing desk?
Lucy, who writes a novel between missions. Golden keys on a deep navy ground look calm next to a laptop and notebooks, and the dark color hides marks from pens and coffee cups.
Which Fairy Tail character fits a mouse-only pad?
Happy. A small blue cat with white wings and a white belly is easy to read in the upper part of the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad. Plue and a single golden key work too.
Are these Fairy Tail pads made with Hiro Mashima or Kodansha?
Neither is involved. Every Fairy Tail design here is drawn by Padrift and printed on our own pads to order, with no license, approval or sponsorship from Hiro Mashima, Kodansha or the anime's studios.
