About Shigeo Kageyama Mouse Pads
Shigeo Kageyama mouse pads for the desk
These are Padrift's Shigeo Kageyama mouse pads and desk mats, original designs inspired by Mob, the quiet middle schooler with enormous psychic power at the center of Mob Psycho 100. Each is printed edge to edge on 3 mm neoprene with a fabric top, a non-slip base and stitched edges. The smallest pad measures 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm), the largest mat 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm), with six sizes between, and each is printed after it has been ordered.
Mob Psycho 100 has no separate page in the shop, so this page covers the series around him: Arataka Reigen, Dimple, Ritsu, Teru, Tsubomi, the Body Improvement Club and the rest. Other series are one level up, on the Anime Mouse Pads page.
Mob Psycho 100 in brief
Mob Psycho 100 is a manga by ONE, the artist behind One-Punch Man, published online from 2012 to 2017. Bones animated it in three seasons, released in 2016, 2019 and 2022. Its hero, Shigeo Kageyama, is an eighth-grader nicknamed Mob, a word for a background extra, because he is so easy to overlook. He also happens to be one of the most powerful psychics alive, and he wants little to do with it. What he wants is to be liked, to get stronger through his own effort and to live an ordinary life.
The bowl cut and the black uniform
Mob's design is about as plain as anime gets: a black bowl cut, round dark eyes, a pale face that rarely shows expression and a black high-collared school uniform. In ONE's original drawings he is little more than a few lines, and that simplicity is part of the joke.
Plain characters make flexible desk art. A Mob portrait in black and white sits comfortably next to almost any setup, and a monochrome desk, with a black keyboard, a white mouse and a gray stand, looks deliberate around it. If you want color, add it in one place only, so the calm of the character carries over to the desk.
Counting to 100
Mob keeps his emotions bottled up, and the series tracks the pressure with an on-screen percentage. As frustration, fear or sadness builds, the number climbs, and when it reaches 100%, he releases what he has been holding back. The counter is the series' signature graphic and the reason for the 100 in its title.
A percentage reads beautifully on a long mat. Laid out from left to right along the top edge, the numbers become a progress bar above your keys, rising toward a burst at the far end. On the M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm), that layout stays visible even with a compact keyboard in place, and it doubles as a gentle joke about deadlines and patience.
The burst at 100%
When Mob hits 100%, the art explodes. The anime renders those moments in swirling, psychedelic color, rainbow waves, melting shapes and light pouring off him, and the contrast with his usual gray stillness is the whole point.
Burst designs are made for an RGB desk. Rainbow lighting that cycles slowly across a keyboard and a light strip picks up the colors of the art instead of fighting them. Put the burst at one end of an XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), with Mob standing calm at the other, and the mat captures the whole shape of a scene in a single picture.
Reigen's consultation office
Mob works part-time for Arataka Reigen, a self-proclaimed psychic with no powers at all who runs a small consultation business and pays Mob next to nothing. Reigen is a con man, but a perceptive one. He reads people well, talks his way out of anything and, in his own odd way, gives Mob some of the soundest advice he gets about dealing with people.
Reigen designs suit a working desk more than a gaming one. A pad with the two of them in the office, Reigen at the desk and Mob beside it, makes a good joke for a freelancer, a consultant or anyone who has ever had to sound more confident in a meeting than they felt.
Dimple
Dimple is a round green spirit with pink cheeks and a habit of scheming. He tries to build a cult around himself early in the story, loses to Mob and then attaches himself to the boy, claiming he is only waiting for a chance to take over his body. Over time he becomes one of Mob's most loyal companions, though he would never put it that way.
As a small-pad symbol, Dimple is ideal: a simple green shape with a face, readable even when your hand covers most of the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad. Float him in the upper corner against a dark ground and he looks as if he's peering over your fingers.
Running with the Body Improvement Club
Mob decides early on that he wants to improve himself without relying on his powers, so he joins the Body Improvement Club, a group of friendly, heavily muscled students who welcome him without hesitation. He is slow, he gets winded, and he keeps showing up. A weak kid running laps every day is one of the series' most quietly moving ideas.
Designs from the club, Mob jogging behind a line of muscular upperclassmen, suit a home office or a desk next to a treadmill, and they make a nice reminder on a study desk that small, steady effort adds up.
Ritsu and the rest of the cast
Mob's younger brother, Ritsu, looks better on paper than Mob does: top of his class, on the student council, talented and admired, yet he quietly envies his brother's power. Teru Hanazawa, a flashy psychic from another school, starts as a rival and becomes a friend. Tsubomi, Mob's childhood friend, is the girl he hopes to impress, and the Telepathy Club, a handful of students with no actual telepathy, gives him another place to belong.
Group designs need width. On the 4XL, 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm), a line of characters can run along the top half of the mat with Mob near the middle, so every face stays above the keyboard.
The quiet before the burst
Most of the time, Mob is calm: standing still, saying little and thinking carefully before he speaks. That calm suits a focused desk. A design that shows him at rest, a small figure on a broad, quiet background, leaves the mat visually empty where you work and keeps distractions to a minimum during long sessions of coding, writing or studying.
Muted grays, soft blues and the pale green of a park bench or a school field all fit this mood. Pair them with neutral peripherals and daylight, and the desk feels as unhurried as the character.
Mob at the gaming desk
Mob's temperament makes a decent model for competitive play: stay calm, let pressure build without showing it and act decisively when it counts. A gaming mat with the percentage climbing along the top edge turns that into a running joke about tilt, the moment in a match when frustration takes over.
Practically, the fabric top gives the mouse a smooth, even glide across the whole mat, the non-slip base keeps it planted when you flick, and the stitched edges stand up to a forearm resting on the front all evening. Dark designs with bright accents hide wear around the mouse area well.
Salt Middle School
Mob attends Salt Middle School, an ordinary suburban school, and much of the series happens in its hallways, club rooms and on its running track. Everyday scenes, Mob at his school desk or walking home under telephone wires, have a soft, unhurried look that sits well in a bedroom or a study.
They also make a good choice for a student. On the 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) size, a school scene fits beside a laptop and a stack of notebooks without crowding the desk.
Kindness as the finishing move
For all its psychic battles, Mob Psycho 100 keeps returning to one idea: power matters less than how you treat people. Mob would rather talk an opponent down than defeat them, and the series rewards him for it. That makes a Mob pad a thoughtful choice for a teacher's desk, a counselor's office or anyone whose job is mostly about listening.
Sizes for a Mob desk
Some designs come in more sizes than others, and each product page shows its own list. These are the sizes that suit Mob Psycho 100 art.
| Setup | Size | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Mouse only | S, 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) | Dimple peering over your fingers |
| Laptop desk | TCG Mat, 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) | Mob walking home from school |
| Compact keyboard | M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm) | The percentage climbing along the top |
| Keyboard and mouse | XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm) | Calm Mob at one end, the burst at the other |
| Deep desk | XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm) | Reigen's office with Mob beside the desk |
| The whole desk | 4XL, 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) | The whole cast in a line |
Not on the table but worth knowing: the L, 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm), and the 3XL, 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), both suit a desk with lots of width and limited depth.
Gifts for a Mob Psycho 100 fan
A Mob pad suits someone who watched all three seasons, a friend who keeps their feelings to themselves until they don't, or a coworker who has a Reigen-style talent for sounding confident. Choose the burst for a gamer, Reigen's office for someone who works for themselves and Dimple for a light, funny gift. For a desk you can't measure, the M at 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm) sits in front of most keyboards and gives the percentage room to climb.
After you order, the pad spends 1–3 business days being printed and finished, then travels from Turkey; most US parcels arrive within 2–5 business days of leaving.
Keeping a plain design clean
Simple, open designs show marks more readily than busy ones, so give the pad a quick wipe with a damp cloth every week or two. When it needs a proper wash, do it by hand: lukewarm water, a small amount of mild soap and gentle circles with your fingers. Rinse until no suds remain, press out the water with a towel and lay the pad flat to dry. Machine washing, tumble drying and ironing are all ruled out.

FAQ
Questions about Shigeo Kageyama Mouse Pads
Why is the Mob Psycho 100 cast on the Shigeo Kageyama page?
The shop has no separate Mob Psycho 100 page, so Reigen, Dimple, Ritsu, Teru, Tsubomi and the clubs are all here with Mob. Other anime series are on the Anime page.
Does a Mob Psycho 100 design suit RGB lighting?
The 100% burst does. Its rainbow, psychedelic colors match a slow RGB cycle on the keyboard and light strip, so the lighting adds to the art instead of competing with it.
Where should the percentage counter sit on a desk mat?
Along the top edge, rising from left to right above the keys. On the M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm), it stays in view even with a compact keyboard on the mat.
Which Mob design is calm enough for studying?
Art that shows him at rest: a small figure on a broad, quiet background. It leaves the area where you work visually empty and keeps distractions down during long sessions.
Is a Reigen design a good gift for a coworker?
It suits a freelancer, a consultant or anyone who has had to sound more confident than they felt in a meeting. Reigen at the office desk with Mob beside him makes the joke without words.
Are these Shigeo Kageyama pads made by Bones or ONE?
Think of them as fan tributes. ONE, Shogakukan and Bones neither make nor endorse Padrift's pads, and the Mob artwork printed on them is our own.
