About Rem Mouse Pads
Rem mouse pads for the desk
Here you'll find Padrift's Rem mouse pads and desk mats, original art inspired by the younger of the twin maids in Re:Zero, printed edge to edge on a 3 mm neoprene pad with a fabric top, a non-slip base and stitched edges. There are eight sizes to choose from, starting at 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) for a mouse-only corner and ending at 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) for a desk-wide mat, and each one is printed for its own order.
This is a character page that sits under Re:Zero. Designs that focus on Rem are gathered here; for Emilia, Puck, Subaru, the Witch Cult and everything else from the series, go one level up to the Re:Zero page.
The younger twin of the mansion
Rem works as a maid in the household of Roswaal L. Mathers alongside her older twin, Ram. She cooks, cleans, mends and runs most of the house with quiet precision, and she refers to herself in the third person, which gives her lines a polite, slightly formal sound. Under the apron she is an oni, and she spent years feeling she lived in her sister's shadow.
Her first meeting with Subaru goes badly. She senses something wrong about him, the lingering scent of the Witch, and in one of his loops her suspicion turns deadly. Over the course of the mansion arc she moves from that distrust to fierce devotion, and that arc is why Rem designs range so widely in mood, from warm smiles to cold, shadowed stares.
A desk built around one blue
Rem's hair is a clear sky blue, cut in a short bob with a fringe swept to one side, and her eyes are blue to match. A single, strong color like that is a gift when you are planning a setup, because you only have to echo it once or twice for the desk to feel deliberate.
- Keycaps: a few light blue accent keys, Escape and Enter, tie a black or white board to the pad.
- Lighting: cool white or pale blue LEDs deepen her hair without washing out the white of her uniform.
- Cables and stands: a white or light blue coiled cable picks up the art without competing with it.
- What to avoid: strong pink or red lighting turns her blue toward purple, so keep warm RGB for a Ram design.
Black, white and frills
The mansion maid uniform is a black dress with a white apron, ruffles at the shoulders, detached sleeves and a frilled headpiece. It is almost entirely monochrome, so Rem in uniform pairs naturally with black-and-white peripherals: a white keyboard with black legends, a black mouse, a white headset on a stand. The blue of her hair becomes the only color in the frame.
All that lace and ruffle detail also tells you where to put her. Fine frills read well near the top of a mat, above the function row, where nothing covers them. A design that keeps her figure toward the upper half of an XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm), leaves the lower half free for your keyboard and wrists.
The morning star
When Rem fights, she swings a morning star: a heavy spiked iron ball on a long chain. It is an unusual weapon for anyone, and an alarming one for a maid, and the contrast between neat apron and brutal flail is a large part of her appeal in action scenes.
A chain is long and thin, which is useful on a desk mat. On an L, 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm), or an XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm), the chain can stretch the full width of the top edge, with Rem at one side and the iron ball at the far side, so the whole composition frames the keyboard instead of sitting beneath it. For a gaming desk, that kind of layout has energy without crowding the mouse area.
The horn of an oni
When Rem lets her full strength loose, a single white horn rises from her forehead and her calm expression gives way to something much wilder. In the anime that horn often glows against dark backgrounds, and art built around it is the most intense way to show her: blue hair, white horn, black night and nothing gentle about it.
Those darker designs belong on a gaming desk with blue or white lighting. Under a backlit black keyboard, the horn becomes the brightest point on the mat, and a dark ground hides wear around the mouse area well.
Two sisters, two desks
Ram is Rem's mirror: pink hair where Rem's is blue, a fringe swept the other way, a sharp tongue where Rem is polite, and a talent for wind magic. Ram lost her own horn as a child, and the sisters' history turns on that loss. In everyday life Rem does most of the housework while Ram supervises, and the running joke is that Ram's cooking barely goes beyond steamed potatoes.
That symmetry makes for a neat pair of pads. Put a Rem pad on one desk and a Ram pad on the next, for siblings, roommates or a couple who game side by side, and each setup picks its own lighting, blue on one side, pink on the other. On a single long mat, a mirrored twin design works when the two stand at opposite ends with the keyboard parked in the gap.
Water magic and soft light
Rem's magic is water magic. She uses it to fight, conjuring sharp ice, and to heal, which she does for Subaru more than once. Visually, that gives her designs a range of pale blues, glints of ice and soft glows that suit a calmer desk than the oni scenes.
A design in those tones looks good under daylight on a white or light gray desk. Pair it with a pastel blue mouse or a white keyboard and the whole corner of the room takes on a cool, clean feel that also suits video calls and coursework.
Episode 18, "From Zero"
Rem's central scene comes in episode 18 of the first season, titled "From Zero". Subaru, at his lowest point, asks Rem to run away with him and leave everything behind. She refuses, and in a long, quiet speech she tells him exactly why she believes in him, refusing to let him give up on himself.
Art inspired by that moment is usually soft and still: two figures, warm light, very little action. It suits a desk where you want the art to feel personal rather than loud. Because the scene is about two people, choose a size with room for both, XL or larger, and keep them toward one end so your keyboard isn't parked between the characters' faces.
The long sleep
Spoilers for the second season: early on, Rem is attacked by the Archbishop of Gluttony, who devours her name and her memories. She falls into a deep sleep, and nobody but Subaru remembers she ever existed. Much of the story that follows carries her absence with it.
Sleeping-Rem designs, eyes closed, often framed with flowers or pale sheets, are the gentlest in her range. They make a quiet, faintly melancholy desk for reading, writing or late study sessions, and they suit someone who followed her story past the first season and felt that gap.
Rem at work
Rem is the most capable person in the mansion, and the series shows it constantly: she finishes chores before anyone notices them, cooks for the whole household and keeps her composure while everyone else panics. A Rem pad on a work desk carries a little of that energy, a reminder that the to-do list gets done one task at a time.
For an office or a shared workspace, choose a design that leans on color rather than a full portrait: her silhouette in blue on white, the frilled headpiece as a simple outline or the morning star drawn as a clean line graphic. Anyone who knows Re:Zero recognizes it, and to everyone else it is a tidy blue-and-white desk mat.
Small pads and simple symbols
A palm resting on the 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) pad hides most of it, so Rem's simplest features work hardest. Her bob and fringe make a silhouette you can identify at a glance; the single white horn is even simpler; and a coil of chain ending in the iron ball fills a corner without needing a face at all. Keep the symbol in the upper third of the pad, above where your palm usually rests.
The 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) size gives a portrait more room. It fits beside a laptop or under a mouse with plenty of arm movement, and a head-and-shoulders crop of Rem fills it naturally.
Sizes for a Rem desk
Every design's product page lists its available sizes. These are the ones that suit Rem art.
| Setup | Size | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Mouse only | S, 11.8″ × 15.7″ (30 × 40 cm) | Her silhouette or the oni horn |
| Laptop desk | TCG Mat, 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) | A head-and-shoulders portrait |
| Compact keyboard | M, 11.8″ × 27.6″ (30 × 70 cm) | A close crop across her eyes |
| Keyboard and mouse | XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm) | The morning star across the top edge |
| Deep desk | XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60 × 90 cm) | Rem in full uniform above the keys |
| The whole desk | 4XL, 23.6″ × 47.2″ (60 × 120 cm) | Rem and Ram at opposite ends |
Two more sizes, L at 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm) and 3XL at 19.7″ × 39.4″ (50 × 100 cm), are made for desks that are generous side to side and tight front to back.
A gift with Rem on it
A Rem pad suits someone who rewatched episode 18 more than once, someone who argues her corner in every Re:Zero conversation or a sibling who would recognize a Rem-and-Ram joke immediately. If you know their lighting, match it: blue for Rem on her own, blue and pink for the twins. If you know nothing about the desk, a portrait on the 14″ × 24″ (35.5 × 61 cm) size fits next to almost any keyboard.
Your pad is printed within 1–3 business days of the order and then shipped from Turkey; plan on another 2–5 business days for it to arrive in the US.
Keeping the blue clean
Sky blue and white are bright colors, and the patch under your wrist will dull first. A quick pass with a slightly damp cloth once a week stops that before it starts. Every so often, give the pad a proper hand wash: lukewarm water, a drop of mild soap and a gentle rub over the surface, then rinse it, press the water out between two towels and lay it flat to dry. It should never go into a washing machine or a dryer, and it doesn't need an iron; the fade-resistant print holds its color without one.

FAQ
Questions about Rem Mouse Pads
Where are Emilia, Puck and the rest of Re:Zero?
On the Re:Zero page, one level above this one. It covers Emilia, Puck, Subaru, the Roswaal mansion, the royal selection and the Witch Cult, while this page keeps to Rem.
Which lighting goes with a Rem desk mat?
Cool white or pale blue. It deepens her sky-blue hair and keeps the white of her uniform clean, while strong pink or red light pushes the blue toward purple.
How do I set up Rem and Ram on two desks?
Give each sister her own pad and lighting: blue around the Rem desk, pink around the Ram one. On a single long mat, a design with the twins at opposite ends leaves the keyboard between them.
What size fits Rem with her morning star?
An L, 11.8″ × 31.5″ (30 × 80 cm), or an XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40 × 90 cm). The chain can run along the top edge with Rem at one end, framing the keyboard rather than hiding under it.
Is a Rem pad discreet enough for an office?
Choose one built on color and shape: her silhouette in blue on white or the morning star as a line drawing. It reads as a tidy blue-and-white mat to coworkers and as Rem to anyone who knows Re:Zero.
Is this Rem merchandise approved by the Re:Zero studio?
It isn't. Padrift draws its own Rem art and prints each pad when it is ordered; Tappei Nagatsuki, Kadokawa and White Fox don't produce, license or endorse any of it.
