About this design
A grinning Gengar in a crooked witch hat haunts a misty blue forest on this Gengar Pokémon TCG playmat, one red eye glowing as a carved pumpkin glows at its feet. Above it drift a Gastly and a flickering Litwick, while a single candle burns warm against the cold woodland gloom. Spooky, but the kind of spooky that makes you smile.
The scene leans dark, and that works in its favor on a table. Cool blues fill most of the mat so your cards pop, and the two pockets of warm orange light, pumpkin and candle, naturally frame where the action happens.
Soft watercolor washes give the bare trees a damp, foggy weight, then gold ink edges a branch here, a wisp of ghost there. Litwick's flame and the jack-o-lantern are the only true warm notes, painted to glow against all that midnight blue. Mischief sits in every brushstroke.
