About this design
A pink-and-green resort courtyard fills this Palm Beach mahjong mat, with flamingos, palm fronds, blue-and-white ginger jars and chic ladies in floral dresses around a turquoise pool. A scalloped center panel holds a pineapple fountain and potted palms. The whole thing is preppy, tropical and a little glamorous.
Set for a game, it reads bright and fun. Guests spot the flamingos first, then the ginger jars and palms, then the ladies lounging poolside. The soft pink center panel keeps ivory tiles and dark racks easy to read, with room to play.
Illustrated in a lively preppy style, the flamingos, palms and figures gather at the border where the walls rise, leaving the scalloped center panel open for tiles. Blue-and-white porcelain and tropical greenery anchor the look. Dye-sublimation keeps the pinks, greens and blues bright.
